Blue...knows how to be comfortable, and has a substantial, though playful, bite when disturbed...
Ginnie Hart: Are you sure it was playful, Ray???? smile
Oh I can feel the warmth of that sun thru the window!
Ginnie Hart: Especially in May, Robin, it was wonderful!
So sweet!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Hollie.

No better life than a cats life in the window and the sun. Love the light and shadows here. Great portrait of Chad's cat.
Ginnie Hart: It was so fun wondering what window he'd be sitting in next, inside or ourside! Bedankt.
That cat looks like it is living a great life.
Ginnie Hart: "No better life than a good life," Michael, as Astrid would say. smile
Beautiful shot, Ginnie! I love the warm, golden tones throughout!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. It all looked so cozy, especially in May.

I wonder how many cats have sunned themselves there through the ages, Ginnie. Lovely warm picture in so many ways
Ginnie Hart: Goed question, Lisl! More cats than maybe we'd believe. You get the sense they belong there...and probably own the place! Thank you.

I think Chad aspires to lead a similar lifestyle to that of his cat Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: You may be right, Chris, in which case I don't blame him! smile

Oh, I remember Chad's beautiful two cats - also Bill's two cats - you are so right - I admire their laziness and calmness, their soft, elegant pace and I cannot get tired of observing them - it is a wonderful photo full of warm sun and beautiful reflections!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Philine. It was wonderful to observe this one in particular, both inside and outside the cottage.
Il est magnifique ce chat roux
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. I agree!
The life of a ginger is mysterious.

Sucks to be Brazil.
Ginnie Hart: Very mysterious, indeed, Michael!

And yes, I dread thinking what it will be like if the Dutch beat Argentina tonight and then have to face you-know-who!
I'd love to have a ginger cat smile
I used to keep three Persian cats in Malaysia. smile
Honey (cream point), Bobo (blue) and Crystal (white). smile
If I got a ginger cat, I'd probably call it Lady Marmalade.
Hang on, how about Lady Boots? Not bad too wink Ha ha!
Ginnie Hart: LOL, LC. You'd make my day if you called her Lady Boots!!!!! grin

Sometimes I wish I could be a cat ;-)
A moody shot, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HA! It seems so easy for them, HF, doesn't it! Thanks.

Ha ha I thought I recognised old nuisance.
Ginnie Hart: I figured you'd recognize this one, Chad. smile
a lesson in how to position oneself to maximise the effect of sunlight and meditate while others around are scurrying about chasing deadlines, paying bills, preparing for taxes.. !!
Ginnie Hart: Exactlt, Ayush. Spot on!
What a very contented cat, Ginnie. Love the way the sun catches his fur.
Ginnie Hart: What a life, Pauline, right?!
This cat is my mate. He sits on me (depositing large quantities of fur) and drools all over me. Chad thinks I am mad letting him do it grin
Ginnie Hart: I can attest to every word, Bill, having seen it with my own eyes! smile
Soaking up the warmth - one of his favourite spots, I imagine smile A lovely shot Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: He seemed to know where all the spots were, Martin, and knew when to go from one to the other. smile Thanks. And welcome back.
The puss has a lovely rich colour. S/he's doing what cats do best.
Ginnie Hart: I'd like to think if I were a cat I'd look just like him/her, Mary. smile

Doing what cats do best. Finding a sunny windless position and proceed with the day.
Ginnie Hart: So therapeutic to see, Louis!

The pleasure of warm sun, it should purr! beautiful day
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Pat. You can almost hear him now. smile
I love this Ginnie....so much comfort around this image... well done
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ronky. It's a feel-good image, isn't it!

Wonderful! Cats have perfected the art of doing nothing. What a wonderful sunny spot to carry out such an important activity. smile
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Alan. Will we ever learn the art???

A marmalade cat in the sunshine. Delightful.
Ginnie Hart: And I LOVE marmalade, Mike. smile
So sweet! The tones are superb Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard. It was a true delight to observe!
is it Saturday, that's cat day smile Chad has a lovely cat and I say that not being a cat person.
Ginnie Hart: I did think of Caturday, Brian, but since I don't post then, I decided it'd make a good mid-week break. smile
The archetypal ginger tom?
Ginnie Hart: I think so, Tom...though if I were a cat, I'd want to be a ginger SHE. smile
