It doesn't get much better than that!

In this setting, Ginnie, you might not notice if the meal is any good!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Ray. Who cares! But, in fact, it was just lovely...a soup of the day with wonderful brown bread and butter!
That is lovely with that amazing background.
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely lovely in every way, Michael!

Great shot, great memories.
Ginnie Hart: It really doesn't get any better, MLMA!

I like this photo very much! A wonderful recreative atmosphere in this refectorium of the Cathedral - and look at the warm light and the stained glass windows! The eating in the cathedrals is especially good according to my own experiences.
Ginnie Hart: It was every bit as wonderful as you'd imagine, Philine. Your kind of day!

Wow - and I missed the tea-room last time I was there!
Ginnie Hart: It was just splendid, Lisl. I can imagine doing the same thing with you one day. smile
Lunch in the cathedral. What is the world coming to? Do they still hold church services?
Ginnie Hart: Well, of course this isn't the cathedral proper, Mary, but in the adjacent Cloisters area. You don't really feel like you're being sacrilegious! Services are definitely held in the cathedral proper. smile
that is a nice thing to do smile
Ginnie Hart: We thought so, too, Joshi. Thanks.
That is better than your average cafe, very nice,Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely better than average, Frank! smile
If we ever track down that magazine Ginnie we will be famous! Lunch in the cloisters can't be bad can it ? smile
Ginnie Hart: Famous, indeed, Bill. Keep your eyes and ears open. smile

Lovely lighting - looks like a good place to have lunch.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Penny. It was a lovely memory!
Beautiful and priceless Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky. It's a treasured memory.
A perfect shot! Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Roland. It is such a nice memory.
What a lovely setting Ginnie to relax with friends.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Scotia. It would be hard to improve on this!
You captured a most pleasant atmosphere here Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard.

You can eat inside of a church! !!
Ginnie Hart: Well, the cloisters are adjacent to the main cathedral, Pat, so not exactly INSIDE the church, if that makes sense? smile
What a place to enjoy lunch! The light is fine on the SCers too.
Ginnie Hart: What a place, indeed, Jacquelyn. I'll never forget it. Thanks.
What a fabulous setting, it reminds me of the first time I met one of my Blog friends when we sat and enjoyed afternoon tea in the Cathedral Church in Newcastle.

We chatted for so long that we got kicked out because the tea-shop was closing ;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! What a great story, Cherry, for such a fine setting. You'll never forget it.
