I believe you are correct, Ginnie...nice in mono.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray!
freeform, informal sculpture...
Ginnie Hart: It does look like a statue, Larry, doesn't it!

Is that a sculpture? It looks more like someone left their stuff! But you're right ...better not ask. It makes a interesting photo, though!
Ginnie Hart: I think it's the latter, Emily, but why it's been left like that??? Who knows!
I will be high and dry. The water is still too cold to venture into it. Very nice with that b+w processing.
Ginnie Hart: If I were a boat, I'd want to wait a few more weeks before floating on the cold water, Michael. Thanks.

At least they can spot the boat in the tall grass....
Sometimes you wonder...
Great B&W.
Friday....happy sailing into the weekend smile
Ginnie Hart: It stood there like a statue...but it does make you wonder. smile Bedankt, MLMA. TGIF.
Um - OK - then I won't...
smile Nice find, Ginnie! Guaranteed to by high & dry here - don't think we'll ever see a drop of rain...
Ginnie Hart: It looks so statuesque, doesn't it, Elizabeth. It does make you wonder why it had to be so high, especially since it's a...boat!

Do you need us to start a rain dance for you there???

I agree - we still need some mysteries in life, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Big Sis!

Oh dear!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly. smile
Well I won't then. Nice twiddlement into b&w Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. Some things are better left to the mysteries of life, as Lisl has so adequately said.

Oh, Ginnie, we'll be expecting temperatures from 30 degr. C and more - very hot I'm afraid, the high- summer has come! This is a special Boat Friday!
Ginnie Hart: Astrid has told me the same for tomorrow here in Dutchland, Philine. Maybe we'll have to get this boat down from its perch somehow and sail away into the cooler places.
Now this is unusual, a boat perched on two tyres. B/w works perfect. That looks like a bucket for a JCB or jib to dig a way back to the water Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I'll put you right to work on that, Scotia. You can supervise the project. smile
plus qu'à attendre que l'eau monte smile
Ginnie Hart: A long time, by the looks of it, Keyouest. smile

Noah's ark after the flood Ginnie. Mrs Noah says, "Brilliant, now how do we get down from here?"

Very clever idea Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to Mrs. Noah to be practical, Chad. grin

The minute you stop looking, boats turn up in all sorts of unlikely places! Looks in better shape than those tyres mind you!
Ginnie Hart: Boats really do pop up everywhere, Mike, and sometimes to our sweet amazement! smile
But you know, I'd definitely ask you if that was a narrowboat on top of the tyres! He he...

Did you have any canal boat holiday in England?
Ginnie Hart: No narrowboats to be found here at the Biesbosch Museum, LC. HA! But I did see loads of them in England, even if I never got to step into any one of them (sigh).
High and dry, a great find and love the textures Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Martin. Have a great weekend.
Now that's what you call thoroughly run aground!
Ginnie Hart: It does appear so, Tom! smile
very good B&W with rest contrast
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Chantal.
great I meant to type, sorry
Ginnie Hart: ....of course.
Makes perfect sense to me.
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure, Mary. smile

Looks like modern art?
Nice Pentecost, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: It could be a statue, HF, couldn't it! smile Thank you. Nice Pentecost to you, too.
A good boat Friday Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, sir.
Sad scene but beautiful bw process Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It's really hard to know what this is about, Marie, but it's probably not bad/sad. Since it's a swampy area, maybe it just needed to be raised up high enough? But why?
I love mysteries like this, Ginnie. The answer might be a simple and logical one but it is still fun to speculate.

Beautifully processed in B&W; so clear and sharply detailed as well.
Ginnie Hart: I love these mysteries, too, Beverly, and have a feeling this one is pretty simple. HA! Thank you.
What a strange find, and I won't ask either.
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's fun, Brian, isn't it. smile

Superb in B&W Ginnie! Great find.

Washed up at a flood tide? wink Looks good in mono.
Ginnie Hart: Washed up, indeed, Alan, with 'up' being the operative word. smile Thanks.

Interesting photo...will not have a hard time finding their boat when they get ready to use it, great B&W
Ginnie Hart: It does make you wonder, Robbyne, doesn't it. smile Thanks.

Looks high and dray and abandoned!
Ginnie Hart: I wonder if someone has taken it down off its perch by now, Cherry?
