The Meet-Up

Did you hear about it?  It's on Sunday at the Cosford RAF Museum in England!

(at the sheepfold in Ottoland, NL)

And in case you missed it, Elizabeth was our guest at V&V yesterday.

Great shot. Perfect timing for a "kiss".
By the way, sweet blog by Elizabeth! You are all such amazing people. I am so glad to get to know everyone through Shutterchance.
Ginnie Hart: It was dark on that side of the sheepfold, Hollie, but I couldn't take my eyes off this "couple." They stood like that, facing each other, for over 30 minutes (and maybe even longer, after we left?).

Yes, I kind of heard about it. Wow, is it this weekend. Time flies, I better start getting my suitcase ready and make reservation with Chad-air, I like to have a window seat.....
Great shot and a perfect one for the meet-up smile
wink see you on Sunday.....
Ginnie Hart: LOL, MLMA. Maybe we should plan to meet up one of these SC reunions. I have a feeling I'd really like you. grin
That is gorgeous in black and white.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. A bit darker than I wanted but that's how it was.
Sounds like great time ahead this weekend, perfect pre-meet image Ginnie. Flying Chad-air I see. smile
Ginnie Hart: This will be our 4th meet-up, Scotia, and I have a feeling it will be even bigger and better than the last. It keeps getting better and better as more and more SCers join us. Matbe one year YOU will come!

Wait till you see Astrid's post on Friday. I don't always know what she's posting ahead of time, but this time I do and you'll like it. smile

Timing was bang on the money...great shot
Ginnie Hart: Timing was everything, Shane...except that were standing like this for over 30 minutes. Every time I looked they were still standing there, chewing away 100 mph. WI sure wish I knew their story...because I do believe they're both ewes. smile

Don't fly Chad-air whatever you do!!
Ginnie Hart: Wait till you see Astrid's post on Friday, Chris. I don't normally see them ahead of time but this time I'm privy to it. smile
Amusing kiss in a beautiful backlight
Ginnie Hart: They kept on like this for over 30 minutes, Marie. Every time I looked they were standing in exactly the same spot, no matter what was going on around them. smile
great shot. and a nice reminder of the shots of the meetup to be soon appearing on SC
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush, and oh, yes. Everyone will be posting all kinds of shots soon, I'm sure!!! smile
It's going to be a great weekend! The video reminds me of Richard Trim and Chad discussing politics.
Ginnie Hart: LOL about Chad and Trim. For some reason, politics never entered my mind with this pic, Bill. HA! Yes, it'll be a great weekend. It's almost here.

I like the video and the wonderful sounds of the sheep! Yes, I hear!
I think this is 'the essence of true love' - sorry, I mean the sheep!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, I know what you mean, Philine. These two stared into each other's eyes for over 30 minutes. Every time I looked at them they were in exactly the same spot. The little lamb below them seemed to be feeling very safe and secure. smile

Belle lumière
JP
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, JP. It actually was too dark for my liking but I didn't want to miss it.
Don't Ewe know people will be Flocking there on Sunday
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. Good one, Martin. grin
Very contemporary - not sure if thats what you were going for but nice POV picure says it all!
Ginnie Hart: Well, if you mean two ewes appearing to be in love, then, yes, Belinda. HA! I couldn't get over the fact that every time I looked back at them, they were still in this same position! smile

Oh wonderful! I loved the video especially to hear the bleet of the lambs (I just hope the mechanical noises where not the sound of butchering wink ) Was one sheep saying "I only have eyes for ewe"?
Ginnie Hart: There is a lot going on here, Alan, for sure. The clanging noice is of the metal rails where the sheep push their heads through to eat the hay on the other side. The rails move far enough to allow the small lambs to slip in and out, back-n-forth. It's so cute.
Yes, yes. The Dutch are coming. wink
But why Cosford? There's also one branch in London.
Ginnie Hart: Watch out! The Dutch are definitely coming! Why Cosford? Well, we meet each time at a location where we can also take pictures...like an open-air museum. This is the place someone picked for this time. And you'd like it because admission is FREE! smile
One is saying to the other "did ewe hear about....".

Have a great reunion, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Pauline. We're really looking forward to the reunion but are sorry we'll miss you this year, Pauline. Maybe next time you can come!

Please be aware there are warnings on all Chad Air flights - something to do with excess gutteridge apparently ;o)
Ginnie Hart: Astrid will give you a good laugh on Friday, Mike. I think she's daring to fly Chad-Air. But where does that leave me????
A great shot for the theme, Ginnie wink
I'll take a look at V&V later
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin. It did seem appropriate. smile
I read that they are both ewes. They may be sisters. I love the lamb between them.
Ginnie Hart: I assume they're all ewes here, Mary, because there were only 2 rams in the whole shootin-caboodle. The little lambsey-divey appeared to feel very safe-n-secure. smile

The Holy Family, Ginnie? Great moment captured!
Ginnie Hart: I like that, HF. Indeed. Thank you.
Me thinks there will be a much bigger herd than this at Cosford on Sunday, we're looking forward to meeting both old friends and new, but first, before we leave on Friday, I must remember to have a look at what Astrid has been up to.
Ginnie Hart: We are so much looking forward to the meet-up, Brian...first meeting all our old friends again and then meeting many others for the first time. It's quite something, when you think about it!

You will love what Astrid posts on Friday. We don't usually know ahead of time what images we're posting, but this time we do. smile
C'est adorable, bien vu smile)
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Olivier. Merci.
You two had better bring your winter woollens with you , weather forecast not very good for this week.See you Sunday.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly our kind of weather, Mick, so we'll be prepared and in good form. I prefer the cold much better to the heat, but, of cousre, a nice in-between wouldn't hurt. smile Looking forward to Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder what those two are gossiping about Gionnie, v&v or the Cosford business.
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Chad. I 'spect it's the latter! smile
so sweet Ginnie..unfortunately I won't be able to make it..
Hope to meet you another time... please let me know if you are passing through London...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky, and one day I'm sure we'll all meet up...maybe in two years?
That is gorgeous photo!nice day to you Ginnie!

I love your video, Ginnie! And I've just been watching Astrid on a Penny Farthing. I love the way she nearly mowed down that toddler!
Ginnie Hart: Don't get ahead of yourself, Penny. I'll be showing Astrid on the penny-farthing later. HA! In the meantime, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. YAY.
How do they know how to make a fine composition?
Ginnie Hart: It's amazing, Larry, isn't it! Thanks.
The hills are alive with the sound of gossip!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHAHA! Good one, Tom.
So adorable and so FUN!!! Enjoy yourselves and keep your eyes open, ha ha! xoxo
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin, and you can be sure I'll be keeping my eyes open...for you!!! grin
Dropping by via CherryPie, I do not regret. What a photo. A pleasure for my eyes. Thank you.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Jean, for dropping by! I just met Cherry again in England (thus my lateness in responding). It's a small world after all!

IT's certainly nice to meet people one does have learned to like on distance.

By the way:
My name does not start
with a J as in Jeep,
but with an S as in sheep. smile

The peace of the night.
Ginnie Hart: Aha, SEAN. Forgive the mistake. But yes, it is indeed nice to meet people all over the ether though the internet.
