I like the graininess of the picture. It fits the subject well.
Ginnie Hart: It was the texture I used, Hollie, and I decided to keep it. Thank you.

This could be a collaboration between Ginnie and Bill...
Ginnie Hart: I take that as a compliment, Ray! Thank you.

I will sit down and try to get organized....
Great treatment of this picture. The dark tones fit perfectly.
Now I will go over to Bill's picture and see what Ray means....
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, MLMA. I wanted to give it a grange look, which seemed appropriate for the place. smile
Nice grungy picture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: That was definitely the look I was going after, Bill. smile Thanks.
Perfect treatment for the subject- as usual!

I am organized, believe it or not! Finished packing my bags tonight... now I just need to muddle through the next couple days! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. I can just imagine how you can hardly contain yourself! I'm so happy for you both!

Yes, this looks very, very old -oud-alt, quite older than we both are! I admire your fine processing!
Ginnie Hart: In other words, Philine, older than the hills...or as we also say, older than dirt. grin Bedankt.

This looks like my bathroom Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHA! I rather doubt it, Chris! smile
Hahaha... Chris is kidding I'm sure > eh?
Ginnie Hart: You just never know with Chris, I'm afraid, Jacquelyn. grin

Nope. Not only is it a bank holiday but I'm on holiday, too. Organisation can wait - once I have my lunch ready to take out to enjoy on the hills. The room in your imagine requires a lick of paint, too. smile
Ginnie Hart: I forgot it was a bank holiday for you, Alan. Well, even fun days out or vacations need a bit of organizing, as we're doing for our upcoming trip to see you!
Once upon a time.... nice processing
Ginnie Hart: Once upon a time, indeed, Marie. Merci.
These simple elements combine to make a fine image.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martin.

Ginnie Hart: I guess, JP. smile
No worries.....it's a Bank Holiday....it can all wait grin Great picture Ginnie, very gritty!
Ginnie Hart: I have just realized from comments, Martin, that it's a bank holiday for you. Enjoy the day, then!

I wake up full of good intentions, but the world seems to conspire against me!

Excellent gritty B&W for Monday.
Ginnie Hart: Those of us who are retired know exactly what you mean, Mike! And thanks.
un beau et bon traitement ,belle journée
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Keyouest. Merci.

Junk in a museum? ... Does that mean that our local waste tip is a museum.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, good point, Richard. The museum is on the top floor of a 4-story building, the rest of which is full of...well, junk!
*Whisper* - Time to clean the house, Ginnie. It;s Monday.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I won'r mention it to anyone, Mary!
What's that thing next to the chair?
Too big for a wash hand basin.
Too small for a bath tub.
Ginnie Hart: Your guess is probably better than mine, LC, so guess away...until Astrid comes home and I can ask her. smile
That's kind of sad, Ginnie, full of neglect. Personally I like to live in chaos, much more fun.
Ginnie Hart: You'd have a heyday at this place, Pauline. Only the top floor of this 4-story building is the museum. The rest is filled with junk and all kinds of odds and ends! smile

A superb composition Ginnie and beautifully captured and presented. Wishing you a wonderful Monday .
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Laurette. So glad to see you back and to find that all is well with you and yours!
This reminds me of an old barn we had in our backyard when I was growing up, Ginnie. Full of similar items.

You've picked the perfect processing to convey the grungy feel of the place.
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling we all have a memory somewhere, Beverly, of something similar. As long as there's lots of light coming through, as in this case, it's not even too scary! smile
CSI, do not touch anything!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly. You break it, you buy it!
My kind of photo... smile
Ginnie Hart: Good for me, then, Larry. smile Thanks.
Fantastic effects here Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ronky.
Absolutely ideal subject for this type of image. I guess you girls are just about organised for your flights later this week, exciting isn't it.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. Astrid is the one all organized, since she's working this week. I'm more or less organized in my head. How's that?! smile

That museum definitely needs organising!!
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Cherry. The top floor of this 4-story building is the actual museum. Everything else below it is a bit of junk like this!

Great treatment of this lovely picture Ginnie.

Looking forward to meeting you next Sunday smile
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Anne. And WOW. I didn't know we'd get to see YOU, too! YAY. What a meet-up it will be.
Great capture with a great treatment Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard.

A topic or black and white lends itself very well! bravo, I love
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Pat. It seemed appropriate. smile
Love the texture you used! Perfect for that old world feel!
Ginnie Hart: Thaks, my dear. When you come back, we'll take you to this place...a photographer's heaven. smile
Monday!!! Arrrgghh my paternity permission it's over... go to work! sad
