I love the different materials in this one shot. We used to water the flowers with the same 'thing'...
Happy Weekend to you.....
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, MLMA. I love these old-timey waterering cans. No sense in recreating the wheel, right?!
Very nice shot. I am loving all the shoes.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Michael.
Very rustic. I like the floor.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. Very Dutch! smile

That bundle of reeds looks very interesting in this still life, Ginnie.

I suppose Lisl will have reeds for you to look at?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ray. I'm quite sure Lisl will have reeds and a lot more to show us! smile

The continuation of a fine theme, Ginnie. I have a modern galvanised watering can like that, which you can employ when here!!
Ginnie Hart: I will do all the watering you need me to do while we're with you, Lisl. Gladly! smile

You are still in that openlucht museum - what a treasure trove!
Ginnie Hart: Actually, this was at the sheepfold, Philine, but it could have been at the open-air museum, because we saw many wooden shoes there, too! Bedankt.
Busy one ahead as it is the book sale tomorrow
Ginnie Hart: I wish you much success, Bill! Let's hope it doesn't rain. smile
A perfect composition shot!nice day to you Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Roland.

Can you by clogs that are designed to compensate for over-pronation Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good question, Chad. This will have to wait till Astrid gets home later! smile
What a great series of shots this week! I like the arrangement here, Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martin. I think I could easily photograph wooden shoes the rest of my life and be a happy camper. smile
Time to wash the shoes. They will be clean and dry by Monday.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Mary.

The saga of the wooden clogs continues, but this mini still life is my favourite by a long way. Evokes Dutch still life painting - a quietly considered composition.
Ginnie Hart: I always find it fascinating, Mike, to find out which images are the favorites. I almost didn't post this one!
Oh yeah, I always wanna see you in Dutch maid hat! Yes, the pointy one. wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! That will be the day, LC (sorry to disappoint you!). grin
cool still life
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sarah.
Well worn shoes but still good for many more years, I'm sure. Do you think they've placed the branches in the watering can to take root, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Many more years, I'm sure, for those clogs, Beverly. Astrid thinks the branches are for decoration, not for taking root, but who knows. Either way, a good idea! smile
will you be packing them in for the SC meet up Ginnie? smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Ayush. I suspect they'll exceed our weight limit. smile

Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! Good one, Louis. grin
Always amazing going through your images Ginnie..This one makes it why..
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Ronky. Thank you.
Is the watering can to allow one to wash the clogs after taking them off?
Ginnie Hart: Good one, Brian. I like that idea. smile
