Really lovely selective coloring Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth. You know me!
A golden glow to those shoes... which is more than I can say for me on MOndays...
Ginnie Hart: HA! Surely for many of us, Larry! smile

You forgot to paint the other shoes Ginnie... petersmile
Ginnie Hart: I only had so much time, Peter, and had to choose what to paint. HA!
Love...and I especially love "rise and shine!" My dad said that to me as a child...and until he no longer remembered it. Some of my last words to him were...don't let the bed bugs bite. We said that to each other for as long as I can remember. xo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you for sharing this, Robin, because these are the stories you will never forget. You will have your dad with you always!
they are crying out to be worn to work, Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Ayush. In fact, I'm quite sure someone will be wearing them out in the barnyard this very day.

I'm up and ready for it all Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure you are, Chris!
Ready steady go for another working day, nice selective choice Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: While many of us are retired (moi) or don't work on Mondays (Astrid), we still remember all the others of you who do, Scotia. Have a great day.

All shining and ready to go, but not to work today....
Great selective colouring. I always love those 'still lives'....
Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: I LOVE that you are now off on Mondays, MLMA! I'm still pinching myself for you. And yes, I love these still-lifes, too. smile Bedankt.

J'aime beaucoup ces petits sabots jaunes qui donnent de la lumière à ton noir et blanc. J'en ai de semblables chez moi de couleur rouge.
Ginnie Hart: You know me, Marie. I look at something like this and I immediately see the selective color. smile Merci.

I do like the colour and pattern of these clogs Ginnie, enhanced by your spot colour.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chad. You know me...if I can "select" it, I will. smile

Clogs and trainers all ready for the off!
Ginnie Hart: And each for their own use, Mike. smile
Someone going fishing with the thigh high wading boots.
Ginnie Hart: Well, it IS the polder, Mick...where sometimes the water can be high, for sure. smile

You see "potential" everywhere, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Well, I don't know about that, Lisl, but I DO see "selective" all the time. HA!
Time for some clog dancing Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It is that time of the year in some parts, Bill, with tulip festivals and clog dancing! smile
I can hear the clomp of wooden shoes from here as poor souls stagger bleary eye to their work.
Must be difficult driving in them, all toe and go !
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! Good one, Martin. It's funny but in all this time here in Dutchland, I've never thought about DRIVING with clogs on. grin

Very dutch! and i love the selective colouring that you do
Ginnie Hart: More Dutch you cannot get, Sarah...and thank you.
I just turned my coffee on with no container to catch the brew. Went out and my beautiful coffee was all over the floor. It's Monday.
Ginnie Hart: UGH! Now that is NOT the way to start off your new week, Mary! sad
Love the colours of the clogs, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Pauline. I do, too. smile
Looks like a day for the clogs! Great shot Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Especially on a farm, Martin, where this was, the clogs really come in handy.
Very nice indeed with the selective colouring Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard.
All of the footwear pictured here seems to be for working purposes.

I don't know why but I have this urge to reach in and move that errant wooden shoe to sit neatly beside its mate.

Another wonderful example of your fine selective colouring, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'm with you, Beverly, on that one errant shoe. So funny. Thanks, as always.

Ginnie Hart: HA! You're on a roll, Louis. Don't stop now. smile

I really did not want to rise or shine today; although I've risen, I have yet to shine... smile Hopefully that will come around about 5pm! I can't see any clog-based wellies wink
Ginnie Hart: Believe it or not, Alan, we were at a museum yesterday and actually saw clog Welles. HA! I'll have to show them one day. smile
love this image Ginnie! what a nice quote too!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky. smile
I take the sentence, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: As long as it's not a millstone around your neck, JC. smile
Great colour pop again Ginnie. My Mum used to tell me to rise and shine when I used to crawl out of bed before rushing to catch the London train every morning, I don't think I ever missed it, thanks to my dear old Mum.
Ginnie Hart: Those moms where there for a reason, Brian! smile

They all look well used
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Anne. This was on someone's farm, nearby us.
Those clogs are ready to go smile
Ginnie Hart: Just where they were left the night before, John! smile
That is beautifully done, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Michael.
I prefer no work smile this is beautiful - thanks for sharing
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, Belinda. Those of us who are retired are lucky! smile Thanks for stopping by and commenting here.
I like your idea and the selective colouring.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

i used to be fascinated with wooden shoes when i was young, are those for real? are they comfy? must be good for earthing smile great shot sister friend!!
Ginnie Hart: If you ask Astrid, she'll tell you they are very comfortable, indeed. In fact, she wore them her entire 11th grade of school, just to be different. HA! That tells you everything you need to know. smile

I love the shoes, I have two pairs - they are made by artisans in the center of France - a beautiful tradition that must be preserved in Holland, bravo
Ginnie Hart: I think the wooden shoes of Holland will be here to stay forever, Pat. There are many who still wear them, young and old alike...especially out on the farms or in the polder. I love them, too!

Get your dancing clogs on ;-)
Ginnie Hart: Ojh, yes, Cherry. I'd love to do a bit of clog-dancing one day! smile (By the way, I couldn't open the comments on your latest post. I hope it's okay?)
Tradition Vs Technology. Very good post processing
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Oscar. And to think that there are many Dutch people who still maintain the tradition!
