I can miss almost anything Ginnie. Nice treatment
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling you don't miss much, Bill. Thanks.
Just because it's in the frame doesn't mean I see it!
Ginnie Hart: I know exactly what you mean, Larry!
Amazing capture and wonderful treatment
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Hollie.
You've done a lovely job of getting that orange to stand out!!
Ginnie Hart: It had such a "lost" feel to it against the green leaves, Elizabeth, which is why I did the selective coloring. Thanks.
he's very one dimensional, except for the twin antennae. great shot Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank god for the antennae, Ayush! smile

Goodness, Ginnie - what a vibrant surprise
Ginnie Hart: I always like a good surprise, Lisl, so thank you. This one didn't look the same surrounded by all those green leaves, to be honest.

Ready for take off. I love this treatment and a great title with it.
Wonderful light and shadows in this picture.
Ginnie Hart: Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA. This image reminds me of my brother Bennett who died in 1996. He had carrot read hair!

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chris. It was a gorgeous sunshinny day in our friends' garden in Arkel. I was in heaven.

He's fairly bristling with joy at having his photo taken ;o) Guessing he was fairly well camouflaged when still.
Ginnie Hart: I could barely see him because of the GREEN leaves, Mike. You can see him much better without the green. smile

A very subtle tinge of colour from this angle Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: He was pretty close to a flatliner, Chad. grin

Easy to miss I should think if its not helpfully standing on something grey smile I like the "antlers"!
Ginnie Hart: The green leaves made him barely noticeable, Alan, which is why I did the selective coloring. Thanks.

Well so did I, I saw the colour but I didn't see him straight away! An excellent shot and love the colouring, Ginnie smile

That's wonderful, Ginnie. he glows against the background.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Pauline. He did seem to be special. smile

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Laurette. Later I saw him in full bloom but to see him like this just really tickled me! smile
I might have missed him even with the background greyed.

Excellent. I just came from Mary's blog ... what a gathering you all are going to have. I will have to start playing Lotto to see if I can make it.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Louis. It would be a blast if you could come...if not this year, maybe two years from now? Start saving your nickels and dimes. (Next year some of them will come here to visit us.)
Oh, isn't that a small tortoiseshell? Or let's call him Lil Boots? Same colour, why not? He he...grin
Ginnie Hart: HAHA. You're way too funny, LC, and you remember way too much. grin
The tiger moth revealed smile
Ginnie Hart: When you see it on Friday, John, you'll have to tell me if that's what it is!
Fortunately, you did see Carrot Top, Ginnie, and now we have this excellent capture of him to admire and appreciate. The selective colouring works so beautifully here.
Ginnie Hart: You always make such a loyal fan, Beverly! smile Thank you.
génial ,discret comme un drone ,belle soirée
Ginnie Hart: A super stealth machine, Keyouest, for sure. smile
This is beautiful Ginnie... love the "orange" tones here
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ronky. smile
Clever bit of colour popping!
Ginnie Hart: It made a huge differance, Tom, believe it or not!
We aren't supposed to mention people with ginger hair because of follicular discrimination laws, but I guess butterflies are exempt from all that nonsense !! There is certainly some power in your little powershot.
Ginnie Hart: I'm one of those ginger-haired persons, Martin, so I know what you're talking about! Butterflies are definitely exempt! And yes, it's a delightful little camera. smile
I'm with Bill on this one, I almost certainly would have missed it as well.
Ginnie Hart: I think we're all aging ourselves, Brian! smile
Just as well that you didn't miss it Ginnie! Great treatment here.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. It gave me quite the smile. smile
It looks like spring is in full motion where you are. We're still waiting for the snow the melt. Thank you for the reminder of what's to come.
Ginnie Hart: We're about a month early here in Dutchland, Will, because we never got a proper winter. I would have loved sharing some of yours! It's good to see you again.
Lovely processing Ginnie! And I'm glad you didn't miss it after all... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sudipto. smile
