Very placid...Zzzzzzzzzzzz...
Ginnie Hart: Too much vroom-vroom on Wednesday, Ray! grin
Hey that is very cool. This is a terrific series.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. I have enough weathervanes to post them for a year. HA! I'll try to sneak them in every once in awhile. smile
Fantastic! Love this one so much!! You must share your post processing for all of us that want to learn from you!
Ginnie Hart: You're always such a good fan, Robin. HA! Thank you. All I did was use a texture that has that border...the same one I used on Monday, but look how different they both look!

i like the way that the tile roof looks like waves Ginnie... great composition... i wish that i was doing that right now grin
....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. I actually decided to keep the roof in the image exactly because it reminded me of water/waves. So, good observation. smile

this is very serene and makes me want to go fishing, for the first time ever.... i would not want to catch a fish, just dangle a bit of food and feed them smile (i have my birthtime, sent it to you) yay!!!
Ginnie Hart: Therte is something very calming about fishing, Elaine. Maybe that's why so many enjoy doing it. It's often not about keeping the fish at all, interestingly! Did you ever see the "Big Fish" movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319061/)? It's one of my favorites. smile And yes, I got your email....
Thats just a great boat friday
Ginnie Hart: That's so sweet, Shane. Thanks.

j'aime beaucoup ce pêcheur de nuages en ombre chinoise dans ce ciel marin
Ginnie Hart: I bet a lot of fishers have their heads in the clouds while they fish, Lasiate. grin Merci.

Heavens - that's an elaborate looking thing Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I just LOVE the vanes out in the polder, Chris. And now my new camera really zoomz in on them, no matter how far away they are!

This is one of the most beautiful weather-vanes I have seen, so much detail. Great post-processing LOVE what you did with it.
Almost weekend, as we say... smile
Ginnie Hart: Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA. I love how my little camera is picking up all these details now!
en équilibre attention de ne pas tomber
Ginnie Hart: I bet it tosses and turns in the wind, Keyouest. smile
Delightfully daft Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Bill, isn't it! smile
My favourite one so far Ginnie! Well spotted and captured.
Ginnie Hart: I love how you've chosen this as your favorite, Richard. That always surprises me what others like best. My favorite was Wednesday's Zoom-Zoom. smile

Perfect friday photo, Ginnie! Every friday they have fish for lunch! ;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! I remember that growing up, HF, for all our Roman Catholic friends. I had forgotten all about that! smile

Now that's the thought. Actually I'd rather be anywhere but slaving away in the Mad House (well, just having a short "fag break" at the moment).
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure, Alan. I suppose soon you'll be retired, right??!! smile
I bet he catches a pike grin
Great weather vane and delightful presentation, Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: I bet he does, too, Martin. That's fun...they way we segue into each other today. smile

The rod and line seems to outline a sail Ginnie, which I quite liked. I do like the stand this is on too.
Ginnie Hart: Aha! I see the sail, Chad. Good eye. A lot of the Dutch vanes sit atop chimney covers like this.
Oh, Ginnie that's the best yet. Absolutely delightful.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Pauline, isn't it. Thanks.

I adore your weather vanes Ginnie, I would like to put one in my garden, maybe in autumn
Ginnie Hart: You would have so many to choose from here in Dutchland, Marie. It would be hard to pick one. smile
Very nice, Ginnie. I like this wind vane. PEI's coat of arms has three oak trees on an island. I am reminded of it with this.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. I'll have to go look up your coat of arms!

Great find for boat friday
Ginnie Hart: It did seem to fit right in, Adrian. smile
loving this Ginnie... watch out Mike (blackdog)
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky. (But I'm not sure of the connection to Mike???? I must be dense right now!)

That guy supports weekends, big time.
Ginnie Hart: I'd love to go up to his door and ask, Louis. smile
Gone fishing!
I like their chimney too. smile
Kinda Oriental or Moorish.
I don't suppose you collect weather vanes, right? He he.. Don't tell me. wink
Ginnie Hart: HA, LC. Do I collect weathervanes or what! Sometimes I actually live for them. grin
Very elaborate, But you have to know your NSWE smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Yes, that does help, John. smile

Excellent Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Roland.
Another lovely weather vane. My son uses those very words when he contemplates work, he is an avid angler.
Ginnie Hart: I love these vanes, Brian. Thank you. I can imagine a fisher saying those words often. smile
Clearly they have a thing about weather vanes!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, om, and so do I. smile

Of very beautiful decorations! a local symbol - Good Sunday
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Pat, and they're all over the Netherlands! Thanks.
really liking the craftsmanship of this fine piece. and an excellent entry for boat friday, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. The Dutch take great pride in their weathervanes!
They've really given a lot of detail to this one, Ginnie. The boat, the fisherman, waves, and even land & trees across the lake. Excellent image for Boat Friday!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Beverly. It's definitely one of the more finely-detailed vanes I've seen to date!

Still here...hovering around and occasionally watching what my good friend Ginnie is up to. Cool picture and a happy Boat Friday to you..

Fishing quote..."Fishing is a delusion entirely surrounded by liars in old clothes"
Ginnie Hart: Believe it or not, George, I was trying to find your photoblog and couldn't find it. I'll do some more looking later (the link doesn't work). But thank you for stopping by to check in on me. That means a LOT!!! Happy Mother's Day (Sunday).
