Looks like an old MG convertible up there
Ginnie Hart: Like from a vintage movie, Chris, right?! smile
Looks like a Morgan to me Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I'll let you guys hash out what it is. HA!

WOW..... this turned out great. I love these fancy weather vanes.
Love the treatment. Great catch.
Ginnie Hart: I love that I can now get better images of these vanes with my 1200mm zoom. I'm like a kid in the candy store! Bedankt, MLMA.
At the risk of sounding pedantic, it's "vroom vroom!" for the old machines.
Ginnie Hart: Aha! I stand corrected, Michael, and am adding that to my text. grin

That looks more relaxed than the monday photo, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Much more relaxed, indeed, HF. That's why we call it a mid-week break. grin

Oh this is different Ginnie, the car appears so delicate here. The blue sky looks very interesting, I shall look out for this next time I'm in the polderside.
Ginnie Hart: The Dutch weathervanes take my breath away, Chad, to be honest. Astrid stops on a dime when either one of us sees a new one. smile

Now that's based on a fine-looking car; a Morgan I think. I wonder the house owner has one?
Ginnie Hart: Could be, Alan. Most of the weathervanes we see are very specific to their homes and do tell a story! How fun.

Ginnie Hart: HA! Great idea, Sarito. In a manner of speaking, yes. How did you know. grin

It's mostly a Morgan in its style At one time there was a ten year waiting list for one of them.
Ginnie Hart: WOW, Richard. I'm sure getting my education today...all from a weathervane! smile
Love the treatment that gave you this background. Gorgeous!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Mary. This was fun. smile
Good parking..Well seen, Ginnie,I like the treatment.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
Oh I love this one, Ginnie. I think both phrases are applicable.
Ginnie Hart: I guess so, Pauline. HA! Thanks.
nice et je vais dans cette direction ,good day
Ginnie Hart: That's the fun think about weathervanes, Keyouest. You always know in what direction you're going! smile

The letters say swen, swen, swen. Must be a swedish car. A fun conversion.
Ginnie Hart: HAHA. Leave it to you, Louis, to come up with that. smile

This one is very unusual.
Ginnie Hart: You should see the rest of them, Cherry. grin
Another fine weather vane Ginnie, you must have quite a collection of these I suspect.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian...and you have no idea. smile
Defintely vroom-vroom! wink
This reminded me of Dick Dastardly and Muttley.
Ha ha... Still laughing grin
Ginnie Hart: One day I'll laugh, LC, when I know what you're talking about. HA! (Must be an English thing?!)
Fantastic texture here Ginnie! lovely!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ronky. It's fun, isn't it! smile
This is great ginnie.....does it still work do you know ??
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Shane, and I'm sure it does. They're all over the Dutch polder like this. The Dutch depend on them!
You are very fortunate to live in a country displaying such a variety of wonderful weather vanes, Ginnie. It must be a thrill to be able to photograph a new one when you see it. This one is a dandy. Your treatment is spot on.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Beverly. Finding a new weathervane is like finding money with the metal detector. grin
Zoom-zoom is useful to capture Vroom-vroom smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Exactly, John. smile
WOW, what a wonderful addition to your collection! LOVE!
Ginnie Hart: It just gets better and better, Robin, especially with my new little camera, zooming in. smile
It looks like a Morgan Ginnie!
Lovely tones.
Ginnie Hart: You're in good company, Richard, with your guess, so I assume you're right. HA! It never even occurred to me it had a name. smile
Nice presentation, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Tom.
Love the weather vane Ginnie...
it's an MG... i wish that i had a 1200 mm zoom lens !....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. You'll have to duke it out with the others who say it's a Morgan. smile

I call my little camera with the 1200mm lens my miracle camera...perfect for capturing these weathervanes that are so soulful to me!
Vroom vroom is the phrase. Very nice shot.
Ginnie Hart: Vroom Vroom it is, Michael! Thanks.
