Love the light play here, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ray. Too bad I didn'r have my tripod to make stars out of the flames. smile
Great lighting, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Hollie. I was glad there was enough light to take a picture without flash. smile
Nicely done, Ginnie! I love the light glints!!
And I do have a mid-week break - I'm off this Wednesday! Yippee! My love and I will find something fun in the sun!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. As I just told Ray, I wish I had had my tripod to make stars out of those glints. smile

I'm sure you and your Love will find great memories on your day off today. ENJOY them all. (BTW, when does he return to his other home?)

Love the light here and the composition.
Wonderful choice of the B&W.
I would have a big grin too after emptying all these bottles.
La Caponnière sure is a photographers heaven.
Ginnie Hart: It really is a fabulous place for the photographer, MLMA. I can hardly wait to go back with guests! I have no idea what Cointreau tastes like. Maybe we'll have to try it one day. smile

Never tasted the stuff Ginnie: bet it's exotic
Ginnie Hart: I've never tasted it either, Chris, but would like to because of this happy gentleman. smile

"Cointreau is a brand of triple sec produced in Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou, France. It is drunk as an apéritif and digestif, and is a component of several well-known cocktails. It was originally called "Curaçao Blanco Triple Sec"." (Wiki)
That figure is kind of creepy in this lighting.
Ginnie Hart: Gotta watch out for what you drink, Michael!!! grin

a funny man - Oh, Ginnie, I wonder how often you are showing bottles, wine, glasses of wine, and now Cointreau- oh, I see we are still in ' La Caponniere'! What a glittering- glinsteren!
Ginnie Hart: HA! You need not worry about me, Philine. grin Just wait till I show you La Caponnière. You're gonna love it!
A great nooks and crannies picture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. When you and Ange come back one day, we'll take you there. smile
Cointreau is delicious and tastes of oranges. Well worth a try!
Ginnie Hart: I'll take it from the pro, then! Thanks for the recommendation. smile

I love the word 'cubbyholes' Ginnie, you don't hear it much these days.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Chad, you're right, now that I think about it. It's one of my favorite words. grin
I like nooks and crannies to, and there is usually interesting stuff hidden in them.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree, Sheila! Thanks.
nice light and shine smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Joshi.

Hhaha!! I think the little chap has had a little too much Cointreau judging by his eyes. smile I like the light.
Ginnie Hart: He's made me want to try it one day, Alan! grin Thanks.
And a smile and some Cointreau to go with it. It tastes like oranges by the way.
Ginnie Hart: A nice gifddy smile, Mary, indeed. And yes, I've heard it has an orange taste, which I know I would love. smile

Le cointreau est fabriqué à Angers
JP
Ginnie Hart: I think you can take great pride in it, then, JP. smile
Beautiful lighting, Ginnie this has my eyes exploring all the nooks and crannies! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin. Nooks and crannies are so...cozy. smile
It is very funny that you show these beautiful decanters because I like very much this object and I have at my home about twenty magnificent crystal corks which belong to no decanter. I had them a time bought in the secondhand trades. Beautiful light on the glass
Ginnie Hart: I just love decanters and their crystal corks, Marie. I can imagine having fun with such a collection of the "corks" alone. Maybe you can take a picture of them for us!!! smile Merci.
What's that little man holding?
Chanel No 5? wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, you can clone in whatever you want it to be, LC. smile
Beautiful as ever Ginnie.. A nice composition!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Ronky.
What a great little character, another table-top style shot to follow your good one the other day.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. smile
A work full of humor and an excellent management of the light. Magnificent W/B. Good evening Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Mathilde. Merci.
nice B&W. J'aime the contreau
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Oscar. I have a feeling I'd like it, too. smile
Nice lighting ginnie...great shot smile
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Shane.
Cointreau is a very nice liquor Ginnie! The light is sublime here.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. I have a feeling I'd like it! smile

Another style in this niche! and cointreau is good! beautiful evening
Ginnie Hart: Gotta pay attention to these things, Pat. smile Thanks.
Beautiful decanters and a cute statue... you seem to have sucked the light into this little nook Ginnie....peter
Ginnie Hart: I love stuff like this, Peter, so thanks. smile
I've never seen an ad for Cointreau like that before!
Ginnie Hart: Me neither, Tom. smile
Mmmmm. Cointreau. What more can I say?
Ginnie Hart: One day I'll see it and make sure I try it, Michael. smile
Nothing wrong with a midweek break (D.: stierenavond - ask Astrid) with a bottle of Cointreau ;-)
Ginnie Hart: Every week Astrid and I have a midweek break, Wim...met iets lekkers erbij! smile One day we'll try Cointreau.

A curious corner. I like the way you have captured the light.
Ginnie Hart: I love corners and nooks like this, Cherry. I actually like anything that feels cozy. HA! Thanks.
It's been years since I've had a sip of Cointreau; think I'll pick up a bottle when I'm out and try it again.

You really have captured the warm and cozy feel of this cubbyhole brilliantly, Ginnie. The sparkle & lights are wonderful.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Beverly. One day I'll have a good taste of Cointreau, which I know I'll love, now that I find out it has an orange taste. smile
Great lighting and composition...the subject matter of course is right up my alley, ha ha!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! One day I want to try this! smile
