Masterful presentation, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Well, Ray...I don't know about "masterful," but it was languishing in my unassigned bin and I decided to just get rid of it. Thank you.
What a beautiful mural Ginnie... i like the indigo color of the ship and the sea....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. It surprised me to see a ship there in the caves, to be honest. I have a feeling people were pining for big water!

Your subjects for Boat Friday are just SO different, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Well, Lisl, as long as it's a boat....right? grin

oh, a fine discovery - and a fabulous mural!
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Philine. One day we'd like to go back to the caves (when the Christmas market isn't there) so that we can see the murals better. I'm sure we missed many of them.

WOW, love this bright Boat Friday picture. Love what you did with it smile
I really loved all the murals in the caves.
Ginnie Hart: Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA. One day we need to go back to see everything we missed...maybe when the Christmas market isn't there.

Interesting Ginnie: I wonder who painted this?
Ginnie Hart: I wonder about so many things related to that place, Chris. It's very fascinating!

Bien vu

Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
I didn't know cavemen had ships like this
Ginnie Hart: It does make you wonder, Bill, doesn't it!!! smile

Ah, this is boatiful Ginnie, but I'm not sure that the yellow border was necessary.
Ginnie Hart: I wanted to make sure you were paying attention, Chad! smile Sometimes I do things...just because I can?

Good idea, Ginnie; and Valkenburg is far away from the sea. A boat in the caves - must be a submarine! ;-)
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, HF. I think someone was pining for the sea!!!

Love the color and texture here. What a wonderful image!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marcie. Just a bit of cave whimsy for me. smile
Awwe......great variation on the Friday theme, Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Just think how many boats there are just waiting to be captured for Boat Friday, Martin! smile Thank you.
Looks like an old pirate ship.
Ginnie Hart: Aha! That means they probably buried their treasure there in the caves, Mary! Good idea.

The moon reflecting on the water just polishes it off. Lovely capture
Ginnie Hart: I guess they needed the light of the silvery moon in those caves, Aussie. smile Thanks.
This is perfect painting Ginnie! love Yellow as you know!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky. Yellow goes a long way to cheer things up. smile

So I wonder how old this painting is? Normally cave drawings just show hunters and their animals but perhaps the artist had a grander vision? It looks old but it could have been done a few weeks ago.
Ginnie Hart: I have no idea how old it is, Alan. There are many murals down there, many done during the wars. I wonder if anyone has done a book on them? Hmmmm.
You find the most interesting things to photograph, Ginnie. My first guess at seeing this one was that it was a well-twiddled picture that you, yourself, had taken of a Dutch sailing ship.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'm not THAT good, Beverly!!! grin But thank you anyway.
Very strong colour.
Reminded me of Van Gogh!
He he... not another Dutch.
They're everywhere these days. wink

So are you also planning to visit Cornwall next year for your birthday? Good choice smile
Ginnie Hart: I hadn't thought of Van Gogh, LC. Hmmmm. Maybe he's rubbibg off on me?! smile

Next year will be somewhere...don't yet know where. I'm putting it in my pipe and smoking it for now. smile
Great inspiration for a collage! Love all the color combinations!
Ginnie Hart: Well, you do know me and collages, Robin, even though this isn't one of them. HA! Thank you.
This is awesome Ginnie! Great capture.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Richard. Merci.
Now be honest young lady, did you see this and immediately think of Boat Friday, or did you find it from your archive trawl outlined to Aussie?
Ginnie Hart: Actually, I thought immediately of Boat Friday when I took this picture, Brian, but just never got around to putting it up. HA!
What nice bright colors... the gold border reminds me of National Geographic..
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Larry. Thank you.
Fascinating detail.
Ginnie Hart: It all was most fascinating, Tom!
Great and different for boat friday smile
Ginnie Hart: Definitely different, Shane. smile Thanks.

They are such bold colours. Very nicely shot, Ginnie.

Very artistic, Ginnie! This would be great on a canvas. Abstract art is always interesting and could tell many stories. I bet this would look great in a photo studio, as well.
Ginnie Hart: You are such an encouraging sweetheart, Emily, every time you stop by. What a gift! THANK YOU!
Is the Jack Sparrow's Boat? Have a nice week
Ginnie Hart: I'm very sure it IS Jack Sparrow's boat, Oscar. smile
