That is nicely shot. Boats in mucky water.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. It was a very sunshiny day and the water was NOT murky, so I'm not sure why it looks that way. Hmmmm.

All good, Ginnie, but I am really attracted to the sun reflecting of the outboard motor, mid-left.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray, and good eye. To be honest, I hadn't even noticed that outboard motor!
a very nice, clean shot. have a good one yourselves.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush.
Love the plastic chairs ....and the reflections
Ginnie Hart: I've never seen plastic chairs in such a small boat, Shane. Needless to say, they really caught my eye! smile

I can imagine the water so softly lapping, not even enough to move these boats an inch
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Lisl, you're right. This is a very protected harbor off the river. Calm, cool, and collected. smile

Those chairs will do great for a day out, fishing.....
Absolute fabulous light and wonderful reflections.
Perfect shot.
These are fishing boats, normally you would row them, but if you have enough money, a motor will help.
Ginnie Hart: The things I learn from you every day, especially on Boat Friday! smile I love it, MLMA. Bedankt.
The light is very beautiful on these boats and boats Ginnie. They seem to wait for the spring to take back life on the river
Ginnie Hart: I do think you're right, Marie. They are all waiting for spring. Merci.

Have a better time than these boats Ginnie: they look a bit sad to me
Ginnie Hart: But at least the sun was shining, Chris. smile We do expect to have a great weekend with Philine, rain or shine!

I prefer the boat with the fine chair - a wonderful ensemble of bootjes - Astrid's comment is interesting - there is a water- street from Nederland to Germany - the River Berkel for example has its source in the Baumberge nr. M√ľnster. A fabulous photo for the weekend!
Ginnie Hart: We can hardly wait to see you, Philine. By car will be much faster than boat. HA! smile
I like the plastic garden chairs grin

Have a great weekend
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. We have just arrived in Munster and will be eating lunch with Philine very soon. You all are in our thoughts. smile

Lots of the boats around here have plastic chairs aboard too.
Ginnie Hart: That tickles me to death, Mary. smile
Chariots of fishermen grin A wonderful shot, Ginnie smile
Weekend sounds fun, hope you all have a good time!
Ginnie Hart: Chariots...such a good word for the fishermen, Martin. I love the thought. Thank you.

the chairs really catch the eye
Ginnie Hart: They definitely caught mine, Aussie. smile
Lovely reflections, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Pauline.
It appears that the owner of the boat with the chairs prefers to sit back in comfort when out on the water, Ginnie. Great idea! Have a great weekend with Philine and a safe trip home.
Ginnie Hart: Astrid says these are fishermen's boats, Beverly. Comfort plus, yes. How fun. We have already had a full afternoon with Philine and are now ready to go out to eat supper at a restaurant with her brother. Thank you.
We just need a parasol to complete this picture! Ha ha smile

Have a good weekend!
Ginnie Hart: We've been using parasols all afternoon, LC, because of the rain here in Munster. Alas, no sun today! Thanks.

Nice chair for the skipper, or his backseat driver smile
Ginnie Hart: Backseat driver, Louis. That would be me. grin

Ginnie Hart: It really caught my eye, Roland. smile

I like the idea of the garden chairs on the boat. Motor off somewhere, take the chairs, get a picnic out, too... smile
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to the Dutch, I always say, Alan! smile
I presume the plastic chairs are used by a fisherman Ginnie! Great capture.
Ginnie Hart: That's what Astrid says, Richard. Good for you! smile

Fine reflections in muddy water! The plastic chair looks like a throne ;-)
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, HF. It was the first time I ever saw something like this. smile
Not the smartest group of boats in the marina are they. Have a great weekend all three of you, what a shame Philine isn't able to join us all on May, 11th.
Ginnie Hart: Boats are no respecters of persons, Brian, are they! HA! We had a great time with Philine yesterday and are looking for another great day today, in spite of the rain. Rain or shine, we love this area of Munstershire.
I think it's cheating to not use the boat's bench...
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I'll have to remember that, Larry. grin
Adirondack chairs in a boat > perfect.
Ginnie Hart: It's probably the first and the last time I'll ever see it, Jacquelyn?! smile
This is quite the selection Ginnie... i like the lawn chairs... the only new things in the picture... this must be a poor man's yacht club....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Astrid says these are fisher's boats, Peter, if that tells you anything???
I love the reflection of the boats in the water. Looks so still and peaceful.
Ginnie Hart: Reflections are always so fun, Hollie, aren't they! Thanks.
That's obviously the captain's chair!
Ginnie Hart: I like that thought, Tom. smile
those are the teeniest docks i've ever seen, my dog would have been in the water constantly... nice pic though, were you walking on water? smile
Ginnie Hart: This is such a fun inner harbor in Leerdam, Elaine, where I'd love to return on a busier, warmer day. Maybe I'd see your dog falling into the water. HA! (I walk on water all the time in my dreams...NOT!)
So calm, reflections and interesting to see those boats. Lovely photo.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sartenada. The colder months are such a fine time to see some of these places when life is almost at a standstill.
they're waiting for the summer to return
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure of it, Sarah...with bated breath. smile

There are certainly plenty to choose from and the light looks so inviting smile
Ginnie Hart: It was a cold but sunny day, Cherry, for a delightful walk at the end of December. Inviting is a good word. Thank you.
Oh my...to be sitting in that chair! Hope you girls have a blast!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, dear Robin. We had a full and fabulous weekend, with rain and sunshine both. We never care, of course, fully appreciating whatever we get. We're still pinching ourselves....
