Works exceptionally well, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
I love this! Great use of the color/b&w!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Hollie. Sometimes I just can't resist selective coloring, whether people like it or not. smile
That is a terrific piece of processing.

Great shot smile Love the selective colouring. There was sprayed a lot of paint on that wall. The orange wastebasket makes this shot.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, MLMA. It was the trash can that really stood out in that place. You know me...I couldn't resist the selective coloring. smile
I like your selective coloring here! Nicely done!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth. YYou know me---it's hard to resist. smile

I wish the facility to do this, Ginnie - your selective colouring always looks so good
Ginnie Hart: Since you seem to like it so much, Lisl, maybe I'll see if you DO have the facility to do it when I see you in May, Lisl. It's very easy if you have the proper tool. I'll check around for you.... In the meantime, thank you!

Oh, Ginnie, you are a real artist in selective colouring - but I could imagine a lovelier path for you both and for us.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, dear Philine...and yes, I imagine a lovelier path for us when we see you soon! smile

Excellent work Ginnie. I heard that grafittiing is a dying art, the kids are losing interest. What can be done to save us from this terrible decline. Perhaps EU grants?
Ginnie Hart: Well, then. Let's get our thinking caps on, Chad, and rectify this situation. Maybe we oldies-but-goodies need to try our hand at it? smile

Very nicely done, Ginnie. The colours draw the eye.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Alan. You couldn't miss that wall for anything! smile
Beau travail de d├ęsaturation, que je ne sais pas faire. Bravo Ginnie !
Ginnie Hart: You're kind, Marie, but with the work you do, you don't ever need to do color selection! smile
I really like the use of selective colouring, Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. Not everyone likes selective coloring, I know, but sometimes I can't resist it. smile

Nice. And I want to know what she's looking at, since the wall is so interesting, and the bin. smile

And which shutterchancer did you meet there? That person in the background must have stepped where the dog bent its back.

Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: HA! We met no one there, Louis, but we had just come from Lanaken, where Tom Wilson had shown us about the Jo Myns nude sculptures. smile And about the dog poop? YES, it's everywhere and you really have to pay attention! (sigh)
It is indeed a very good picture and fine colour popping on your part Ginnie, I just wish people didn't do this sort of thing, that's a bit of my "Grumpy Old Man" thing coming out!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian, but if they ARE going to do it, at least make it worth the look, right? smile
I love this Ginnie..the focal point here is fab! well done
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Ronky. Thanks.
I really like your treatment here, Ginnie,it works really well.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Frank.
Some captures just call out for selective colouring, Ginnie, and this is one of them. I love to experiment with this treatment as well; sometimes it works, other times it doesn't, but as we can see here, it did work and beautifully, too.
Ginnie Hart: You and I are definitely on the same page, Beverly. I know there are some who don't like selective coloring but sometimes I get downright giddy over doing it! grin Thank you.
Talk about gentrification, eh? wink
Have you seen any Banksy's work in Holland?
Ginnie Hart: Does Banksy have any work in Holland, LC??? If so, I'd love to go see it!
What a fabulous image with your treatment Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Richard. Merci.
Real nice this Ginnie ...works great

Nice splash of color in a season that seems to have leached out all the colors.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you most kindly, Boye, for stopping by and commenting here. That means a lot to me. I hope you're not too snowed in there in America. Stay safe and warm.

One wonders what may be wrong with the girl, or did she just lose an earring?
Ginnie Hart: I wonder, too, Wim, but sadly, we'll never know!
