Great sculpture...Great image!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ray. The exhibition is spectacular.
Wow. Wow, wow, wow. I don't know what more to say! Wow!
Ginnie Hart: You'd really say WOW if you saw it in real life, Robin. smile Thank you.
I love the cyclists... and that amazingly colorful tree in the background is perfect!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth...and this was the last weekend of November! I'm afraid we still haven't seen winter, even though the colorful leaves are all gone.

I remember Prof. Wilson's series - in my view the burning, glowing autumnal colours can beat the sculpture- ladies who might now feel very cold.
Ginnie Hart: We were very lucky to have autumn's last glow that last week of November, Philine. Hartstille bedankt.
a fantastic sculptures shot!
good shot and colors, nice day to you Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Roland.

And what a background he (and you)have chosen for his beauties
Ginnie Hart: We were so lucky to have some sun and autumn foliage still that last week of November, Lisl. Thank you.
I,d want a bigger saddle smile
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Shane. I'm saying OUCH to myself every time I think of riding a bike naked! smile

That looks very cute knowing now just how much they love their bikes in the Netherlands.
Ginnie Hart: Good point, Aussie. grin Thank you.
The lush setting nicely frames the figures.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. It really was a great day!

Se promener nu à bicyclette... ce doit être spécial ! j'apprécie ici le beau mélange de vert et de rouge et, bien sûr, ces jolies sculptures
Ginnie Hart: The thought of it is fun, Marie, but the actuality would be quite uncomfortable, I'm sure. HA! Merci.

Dare I suggest - Ginnie meets Astrid in the park?
Ginnie Hart: HA! Yes, Chad, you dare. I do think we saw right through each other, to be honest. smile Nice thought.

What a beautiful photo - a look of colors against the grey winter.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, HF. Thought I'd perk things up a bit. grin

For reasons that I have never fathomed, there are sometime snaked bike rides in the UK. I can't think of anything worse to be honest. I love the colour of the trees.
Ginnie Hart: I actually have to totally agree with you, Alan. I would be saying OUCH OUCH OUCH the entire time, just watching them.
Great sculptures Ginnie and a fine shot; the autumn colours are wonderful! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Martin. It was a splendid day in every way.

You went at the perfect time to get the fall foliage into the picture.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Mary. We couldn't have been happier! Thanks.
Super shot,Ginnie, great colour,and artwork.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Frank. It was a great exhibit to see (thanks to Tom).
It was autumn then! The figures are a bit 'stiff'
Ginnie Hart: You'd be stiff, too, Wim, the last week of November without clothes on. HA! grin BTW, my comment finally took on your site today. YAY!

The autumnal decoration makes this quite a picture. THese two girls shouldn't pedal like this around town - they will cause accidents.
Ginnie Hart: As Astrid would say, "They'll drive off the dijk!" grin I love it. Thanks, Louis.
Where are they going?
WNBR in Lanaken? wink
Ginnie Hart: I'm guessing the sculptor was well aware of your WNBR in London, LC! smile
wow Ginnie, These are great sculptures..they are in proper conversation!
Ginnie Hart: And with not a care in the world about what anybody thinks, Ronky! Isn't that saying something! smile

I love this! The colors in combination, the shapes and patterns, the simplicity of the sculpture amid the tiny and intricate leaves. That house on the left makes it perfect for me!
Yikes! I'm glad Jo Myns sculpted the girls in a standing position and not seated on those tiny bicycle seats. The fall foliage was the perfect background for this shot, Ginnie; such gorgeous vibrant colours.

BTW, I would be more than happy to swap winters with you. With our temperatures dipping to -23 Celsius accompanied by bitter winds, drifting snow and slipping & sliding walking conditions I would gladly welcome your Dutch non-winter.
Ginnie Hart: Those were sensible girls, Ruth, to stand up during their chat!

Too bad we can't just balance out our wo winters. We really haven't had one yet, thought today's wind chill was probably below freezing. It was my first day to wear my neck scarf abd earmuffs to the grocery store! And I just saw on CNN the devastation in Atlanta since yesterday. Oh my! Amy says they're all fine...staying at home today.
You really struck lucky with those autumn leaves!
Ginnie Hart: You're right about that, Tom. I'm just glad the exhibit was still there! Thanks again for the tip.
Your timing for the visit was just right with those colourful leaves as a backdrop. Without being at all purvy those statues, both male and female, are extremely lifelike, he is obviously a very accomplished sculptor.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Brian, on all counts. We feel very privileged to have seen this exhibit.

Rather charming Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: And so nonchalant, Richard, as though this is an everyday occurence. smile
Lovely sculptures coming out nicely on this beautiful background Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard. This was a fun place to see.
Some beautiful colours in this ginnie...not sure I want Ange riding her bike like this though grin
Ginnie Hart: Beautiful colors, Bill, yes, but if Ange rode like that, they'd drive off the dijk. smile
well, at least mine is covering herself! Like the overtone colors & set up here Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, JC. Yours is much more modest. I don't think these ladies here have any clue they're naked. To them it looks "normal."
These are two beautiful sculptures Ginnie... and i love the fall colours behind them....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. We were very lucky that day.

Ginnie Hart: It was a fun place to be that day, Helys. Merci.
The autumnal colors have really added to the beauty of the sculptures... Nice shot Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: It was a perfect day to be there, Sudipto. Many thanks.
That is a wonderful shot of those beautiful sculptures.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Michael.

Sadly this will be my final comment, for a while, Ginnie. As I've explained on my last post, for the next few months I’ll be working on a couple of projects that will occupy most of my time. So most of my social networking will have to be put to one side.

But I'll miss your delightful posts.

George
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes you just have to have priorities, George, and right now I can only wish you much success. Please let me know when your book is finished!!!
