They look quite comfortable, Ginnie...perhaps Chris might consider something like this set as a suitable upgrade to The Bench?
Ginnie Hart: I knew someone would recommend that for Chris, Ray! Of course it would be you. smile
I love the lighting in this shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Hollie.
the tiles, the grills, there is much to observe and appreciate in your capture, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. This cathedral has much to offer!
Lovely and warm, such a beautiful photo of a beautiful place!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. You'd love this cathedral!

What an interesting array of materials here Ginnie - I think perhaps one reason for your choosing this?
Ginnie Hart: Whenever I see 3 chairs in a row, Lisl, my interest is always piqued. grin

a warm, cosy atmosphere in this corner of the church - Lisl's observation is right.
Ginnie Hart: Heel erg bedankt, Philine. Whenever I see 3 chairs in a row, I always take notice. HA! smile

The wooden chairs are beautiful. I love the patterns of the tiles.
Great title too smile
Ginnie Hart: Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA. I just wish you had been there with me that weekend.

I'm glad you altered that to Graces Ginnie: these things are far too immobile to represent the Stooges
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes I can be very sensible, Chris. grin

I like how the light works in the image
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Vintage.
So that's Disgrace, scapegrace and tiffgrace?
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, then. Hmmm. And we'll just have to check it out, Bill! grin

The light on these magnificent chairs is magnificent. An atmosphere of meditation gets free of your image Ginnie, I like very much.
Ginnie Hart: I was almost blinded by the light, Marie, so I'm glad you saw it, too. Merci!

Lovely old chairs, Ginnie; they have seen a lot.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, HF, and I'm quite sure you're right!
Absolute wonderful picture, good light, perfect shot Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Roland!

je prends le siège qui est dans la lumière : il doit y faire meilleur

Ginnie Hart: As long as it doesn't blind you, JP. smile
Beautiful with the sunlight, Ginnie, it looks an inviting place to sit smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Martin. I thought so, too. smile

I have attended Evening Song in this Cathedral. Very special.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, WOW, Louis. That would be something else!

A cathedral with a very long history Ginnie. If I were to sit on one of these seats I would request a cushion.
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure those chairs could tell us a lot about this cathedral, Chad, if only they could talk! And yes, cushions would be nice. Maybe we can request one for you.

In todays world of reality TV they look a bit like judges chairs!?

Nice atmospheric shot, I can almost hear the echos of footsteps.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tony, for your most kind comment. I like that thought about today's reality judges!

I knew it had to be an Irish cathedral, Boots. I love that spot of light and the warm colors.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Ruth. I'd actually love to go back there to spend more time, just sitting!
They look well-built and solid, Ginnie, and I suspect they could hold the weight of even the most robust visitor. I find objects arranged in groups of three always seem more pleasing to the eye.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree, Beverly, on all accounts. Three seems to be a very special number!
Ginnie, this is a classic image! love it!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ronky. You're a sweetheart.

Nothing could be further apart.. the Stooges and the Graces. Ray makes a good suggestion. I wonder how many worthy (and unworthy) backsides have sat on these?
Ginnie Hart: HA! The Stooges and the Graces may have more in common than we think, Alan, in their brightest moments. But good question about the worthy backsides. smile
It looks a fine spot to sit and ponder awhile, I could certainly do that with no difficulty.
Ginnie Hart: I so agree with you, Brian. In fact, I would gladly go back and do just that! smile
These seats are reserved for the Three Musketeers. wink
Ginnie Hart: Well, I knew someone would finally say that, LC, so THANK YOU! grin
That light stretching across those chairs is perfect ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Shane...and your link finally works!
Yeap...thanks to john smile
Ginnie Hart: Great! He sure stands behind us!
Superb with this mystical light Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Richard. Merci.
Obviously intended for the church nobility!
Ginnie Hart: But this was in one of the side hallways, Tom, so I wonder if they were more for us commoners?
I'm so glad you went there!!
Ginnie Hart: So am I, Robin...thanks to your recommendation! I'd go back again, with Astrid....
Exquisite. I like the way the light highlights the one chair.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. The light is most compelling, isn't it!
Take a seat and wait for your turn
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like that, Navin. It looks like the wait won't be too long. smile
Fine chairs (not very comforatbel maybe) and beautiful tiles on the floor.
Ginnie Hart: Some things are more for show than go, I think, Wim? smile Bedankt. You'd love this cathedral.

BTW, my comments are still going into a Black Hole somewhere on your site. sad
I love the lightning here Ginnie! I'm guessing (and this might be a long shot) this is an HDR. smile Is it?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sudipto. The lighting was magical that day, yes. It's not a true HDR but what I call "fake" HDR. HA!
Those armrests look uncomfortable.
Ginnie Hart: I happen to agree with you, Michael. grin
