Happy New Year to you. Now go make love. Obliterate war.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. If only it were so easy!
So cute!!! Is this in your kitchen? Lots of love to be made...
Ginnie Hart: Cute, yes, Elizabeth, but minimalistic window dressing not too far down the street from us. It caught my eye, obviously. smile

This scene made me smile....
Ginnie Hart: I can imagine what you would have done with that store-front window, MLMA. But at least it gave the right message. Hartstikke bedankt.

I agree with you Ginnie, it is necessary to make love and not the war but I am well afraid that the homo sapiens never understands that because in a time when the peace should reign over the world further to the evolution of the man, this one remains always belligerent, warlike and is many of the good reasons for it: a religion, a difference of skin color, nationality, a piece of ground, everything is good to the man to bicker with his neighbor.
Let us hope that 2014 will give him a little of wisdom but I do not really believe in it.
Ginnie Hart: You've said it well, Marie. There are some things that never seem to change. History keeps repeating itself. And every year we start out with Hope once more. (sigh)

Hhahahah at Ray. I love the aprons on the bottles and I'm sure I would enjoy the contents, too. I like the furry friend smile
Ginnie Hart: We can always LOL at Ray, can't we! And yes, I love the aprons on the bottles, too. All of it is fun. Simple but fun.
Nice sentiments - love the little fellow - I think in Sweden such figures are called "tomte" or "tomtenisse" - they are givers of gifts and the equivalent of Father Christmas.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tom, and you just taught me something new. Gotta love that furry Father Christmas, then! smile

We can always hope, Ginnie, as it does spring eternal. Perhaps this coming new year will see us humans with more love in our hearts than hate and the fussing & fuming will be at a minimum.

Ginnie Hart: Someone said they think it's a Swedish figure called "tomte" or "tomtenisse" - they are givers of gifts and the equivalent of Father Christmas. How cute, right? smile Did you make it through the night last night? We had fireworks everywhere, right in our backyard. So we couldn't go to bed till almost 2 a.m. Seriously. smile
