That certainly came out nicely in that low light. That is quite the ISO.
Ginnie Hart: To be honest, Micahel, I had to shoot at a high ISO because I couldn't figure out how to change the f-stop on my new camera. Once I got home to check the manual, it was easy-peasy. I felt so dumb!!!! But thanks anyway.
very nice detail. smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Hollie.

Lovely light play here, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thnaks, Ray. Actually, as I just told Michael, I had to shoot at a high ISO because I couldn't figure out how to change the f-stop on my new camera. Once I got home to check the manual, it was easy-peasy. I felt so dumb!!!!
really liking the stars around Santa. great shot Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. That may have been the only advantage of the high f-stop (which I couldn't figure out how to change on my new camera).
All so very cool! And wonderfully photographed Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Elizabeth. It would have been better if I had figured out how to change my f-stop...but I still felt it was worth seeing what the caves are like.
Wonderful warm mood with this shot Ginnie. Lovely holiday feeling.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, John. It's a fabulous setting for a Christmas market!
He shire likes his crystals. What do they represent?
Ginnie Hart: I have no clue, Michael. This is a Christmas market and someone is selling their wares...to which I never paid attention, to be honest.

This is rather special isn't it Ginnie, being in a cave
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely worth the visit, Chris, once we heard about it. Totally unique!

Warmer and warmer, Ginnie - we are getting there with you
Ginnie Hart: Great, Lisl. It's just around the corner and we're ready. smile

Wat voor een sfeervolle, warme omgeving voor een kerstmarkt! You may have been short of eyes to study all the words and drawings at the wall!
Ginnie Hart: It's a magical place, Philine, and one worth seeing. We don't need to go back after seeing it once, but we do highly recommend it. Soon I'll have a post about it at In Soul.

This is a wonderful picture. I love the warm light. I am glad the F-stop issue is solved..
Philine is right, there are so many drawings on the walls which are beautiful too.
Ginnie Hart: This really was a magical place, wasn't it. I told Philine we don't need to go back after seeing it once, but it was totally worth the visit. And yes, I'm so glad I found the easy fix for the f-stop! smile
Very good detail shot!
I like light!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Roland. Merci.
Very atmospheric Ginnie which the high ISO has probably helped
Ginnie Hart: You're kind, Bill. I'm glad I finally figured out how to change the f-stop, after I got home!

A cozy nook! Is that Mrs. Claus behind him? I must get to a Christmas market somewhere some year. Maybe yours!
Ginnie Hart: N, that's not Mrs. Claus, Ruth, but we can always pretend. smile I'd LOVE it if you can see a Christmas market with us here one day!!!
The things that are done in the name of Christmas!
Ginnie Hart: Well, yes, Tom...I suppose so. smile

Ho! Ho! Ho! Very festive and a fine capture. I'm getting some clues that Christmas is coming...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Alan. It's right around the corner! smile
Very nice photo. Christmas in mind.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sartenada, and, yes, indeed!
A warm & wonderful image, Ginnie. So glad you were able to capture those charming drawings on the wall as well. I love the miniature lamps they are displaying and have some of my own quite similar to these. They look so festive when lit and are much safer to put in a Christmas arrangement than free standing candles.
Ginnie Hart: You know enough, Beverly, to have been totally in love with this Christmas market. Thank you!
Fanstatic Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ronky. smile
Isn't that delightful, I think I would like to visit these caves at any time of the year.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree, Brian. I wonder if they do something special at Easter? Hmmm. Halloween might be special, too. smile

Il ne manque que la musique de ce très beau chant de noël qui t'a servi de titre. J'aime cette ambiance.
Ginnie Hart: I should learn how to add music like you do, Marie! smile Many thanks. Merci.
A very cool atmospheric shot Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard!

I wonder whether there is a song for merry women?

That picture of yours came out really great on stretched canvas. Thanks again.
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Louis. I was wondering the same! smile

Thanks for letting me know about the picture!! smile What size did you make it?
Lovely warm tones...

Never underestimate the value of a good manual...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. Once I found out how to change the f-stop, it made sense but I truly could not figure it out on my own. You actually rotate the dial, which I didn't even know was possible!
They should have dressed up Captain Caveman here as Santa.

Wait, Fred Flintstones probably is the best candidate! Yeah, choose him instead.

You'll have a yabba dabba doo time.
A dabba doo time.
You'll have a gay old time. grin
Ginnie Hart: Yabba dabba doo, indeed, LC. I'll remember that! smile
What a lovely little Christmassy corner you found here Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Janet, isn't it! Thanks.

The other good news that we overlook, Ginnie, is that all our earthly cares will be wiped away when we finally hang up our souls.
Ginnie Hart: I couldn't have said it better, Chad!!!

A very interesting corner with nice ambient lighting.
Ginnie Hart: There are nooks and crannies like this all over the caves, Cherry. You'd love it. Thanks.
