Not quite sure what I am looking at... boxes of paint?
Ginnie Hart: I didn't have a clue either, Larry, but Astrid says they're "boxes" holding circular saw blades. Apparently the paint-like strips are just part of the brand. These were on a shelf in the carpentry area of the shipyard.
yes, a nice rainbow image for the start of a new week i suppose. nice thought Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. It did seem appropriate. smile
Good job seeing the art in the ordinary!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. It was hard to miss. smile

Colorful palette.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Paule. Thanks.
My guess is that these would be ships logs Ginnie... but i have been wrong before...
i am looking forward to the tour of the shipyard....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Astrid tells me these are "boxes" holding circular saw blades, Peter. Apparently the paint-like strips are just part of the brand. These were on a shelf in the carpentry area of the shipyard. It was the annual "Open Day" at the shipyard and hundreds of people came from all around to have a look. I'm working on the pics as we speak. smile
This is awesome! the colors...the textures...the post processing...the composition...all of it!
Ginnie Hart: You are pure sweetness, Robin. smile THANK YOU.

I can see what it is but with this perspective it almost looks like abstract sculpture. I do like it.
Ginnie Hart: It really caught my eye, Aussie! Thanks.

smile Absolute fabulous shot. When I saw the stack of boxes I smiled. I think only few people know what are in the boxes.....
New round saw blades for the saw machine. A good way to start the week, put a new one in the machine and it will make all the difference in the cut.

Ginnie Hart: Leave it to you to tell us what these are, MLMA! I would never have known. And yes, what a way to start out a new week by putting on a new blade! smile Hartstikke bedankt.

Love it when you and Astrid show images from the same place, and they are so different, Ginnie.

This is great!
Ginnie Hart: What can I say, Ray, but that we're Partners in Crime and love our photo-hunts together. grin It does make a point about how two witnesses can view the same thing and come up with different images!
This is very different Ginnie. I had no idea what it was until I noticed your reply to Larry.
Ginnie Hart: I had no clue either, Bill. Leave it to Astrid to illuminate us all. smile

Today here in Bath at the moment it is grey but I will do my best to inject some of that colour vibrancy into it Ginnie - if I can
Ginnie Hart: You can borrow my colors any time you need them, Chris...and I will do likewise when the tables are turned. smile

Haha - fine idea and find - I hope to paint my week in some different colours - here in my daily life and then in Gorinchem around the weekend! Een goede week toegewenst ons allen!
Ginnie Hart: We're so excited, Philine, about your trip this week. We're getting ready for you. smile

This is stunning , amazing such a brilliant idea, fantastic use of colour intellectually satisfying aeshetics pouring from it ... er umm just one question what on earth is this pile of rubbish. [grin}
Ginnie Hart: HA! I didn't have a clue, Richard, until Astrid said they're "boxes" holding circular saw blades. Apparently the paint-like strips are just part of the brand. These were on a shelf in the carpentry area of the shipyard.

Ginnie Hart: Right, JP. Slow down. We move too fast!
This is nice...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Preyi.
Monday is going to be blue. Ha ha...
It's kinda cold and wet today too. sad
Ginnie Hart: A blue Monday for you, LC? Maybe by the end of the week (day?) things will cheer up?
Great splash of colour to brighten up a rather drab Monday morning Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It works for me, Janet! smile Thanks.

When there are a lot of ships to be photographed - you shoot some discarded cardboxes smile It worked.
Ginnie Hart: HA! The ships are for Boat Fridays, Louis. grin
It is like a rainbow, Ginnie. Are these all the colours they use to paint the boats they build?
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Pauline, I think the brand of this package for the circular-saw blades just uses these colors for advertizing? Who knows! I just assumed it was for paint but apparently not. HA!

A modern still life by a photographer who doesn't miss a detail. Love it.
Ginnie Hart: That's most kind of you, Sister. Thank you.
Rainbows among the Monday cloud smile A great artistic creation, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: We always need rainbows, Martin, as long as there is rain! Thanks.

Ah... I thought it was one of those paint colour charts at first! I/m trying to work out the scale but have given up smile
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Alan, if you think of paint charts you've got the scale of this. They're about 1cm thick and maybe 40cm long?
Wonderful work : Bravo !
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Zeb! Merci.
This lot make for a very good abstract don't they.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Brian!

I thought at first it was some sort of stationery, Ginnie - it makes an impressive picture
Ginnie Hart: And I thought they were paint palettes, Lisl. smile
Well spotted Ginnie! A different colour everyday.
Ginnie Hart: That's a good way to look at it, Richard. smile Merci.
A ray of colours right..
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Aderonke, for stopping by and commenting here. Welcome to Shutterchance.
I thought they were file holders - but, circular saw blades? That's a novelty. Well spotted, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun when we get our education, Tom, isn't it. Leave it to Astrid to lead us by the hand....

Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Michael.
It really does remind me of those colour chips you see in paint stores, Ginnie. Great capture and a good eye for spotting them!
Ginnie Hart: That's exactly what I ythought, too, Beverly...paint chips. Leave to Astrid to lead us in the right direction. smile Thanks.
