This is an amazing performance of the camera, and you of course!!
Imaging the camera on a tripod. I bat (bet) that you can see the man on the moon for sure grin....
Great picture.

Ginnie Hart: HA! I like your Dutch version better, too, MLMA. smile I'm having so much fun with this new toy, as you know. Thanks.

What a picture! In the UK this event is seemingly more popular than it was in my childhood Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I loved going trick-or-treating with my kids, Chris, but don't remember doing it myself as a little girl. It doesn't happen here where we live in the Netherlands...if at all?

Very effective, Ginnie - clever you!

I can see the fascination for young people Ginnie. This celebration did not exist in England when I was a child so I cannot think anything of it now. I do like your photograph though.
Ginnie Hart: We had fun trick-or-treating with the kids when they were little, Chad, back in the day when everything was so "innocent." I have lots of good memories from all the costumes we had to make! smile

Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! You can fool some of the people some of the time, Mary. grin Thanks.

I am so impressed with that camera, Boots. Glad to see the bats found you (from our barn). smile
Ginnie Hart: It's been a fun toy to play around with, Ruth. And it sure weighs a heck of a lot less than that bazooka lens! I've wanted to overlay art clips like this for awhile so I just finally did it...via PicMonkey. smile

We are invaded by bats from the moon? You and Power made a great shot of it smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Louis. Sometimes you just have to mess around and see what happens! smile
Stunning shot of the moon, Ginnie - I've been reading about this camera - can't justify it at the minute, however!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tom. "Justify" it for what, out of curiosity? I am still keeping my big-girl camera with the 24-104mm and 100mm macro lenses. This one will take the place of the bazooka 28-300 lens that really aggravated my sciatic problems when we traveled. Most of those images are on my travel blog where I can now process them faster...so it's a win-win for me. It can also shoot in RAW, so I'm shooting JPEG + RAW on all images, deleting the RAW I don't need. I'll keep experimenting with them for SC, as I did here. BTW, I got it for $340 on eBay. Not a bad price for what it does! 1200mm still blows my mind!
Wow, that's a great shot Ginnie and hand-held! I like the festive twiddle smile
Ginnie Hart: It's a great toy, Martin! Thanks.
Love it Ginnie. Did you know that there is a really large comet coming into view from the end of November?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Pauline. No, I didn't know about the comet. I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open for it. Maybe I can try catching it with this camera?!
What a terrific moonshot Ginnie. You must be thrilled to bits with your new camera
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Janet, and, YES. I'm totally thrilled. smile
cute!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Faisal.

Isn't it tomorrow that is All Hallow's Eve? You were very lucky to get the bats flying just in front as you took this smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Alan, of course it's tomorrow...when I don't normally post. Just jumping the gun. smile And, yes, I was lucky about the bats. smile
Fabulous Halloween image, Ginnie. The full moon must have shone clear & bright in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia on that particular night.
Ginnie Hart: It was everything a full moon was meant to be, Beverly. smile Thank you.
Stunning shot Ginnie! And a solid concept too...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, VP.
Very well taken Ginnie, your hand must have been rock steady to take this.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. The camera does have image stabilization, which helps. smile
Just FANTASTIC!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin. You're a sweetheart.
Great hand-held shot of the moon Ginnie.... the twiddle with the bats make it special....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. Sometimes we just have to mess around. smile

Great shot,Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Kind thanks to you, Frank. Welcome back.
Ha ha...
Should I be Batman this year?
You be Poison Ivy? x
Ginnie Hart: You can be Batman, LC...but Poison Ivy will put me in the hospital, for sure! sad
Well done indeed Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Kind thanks, Richard!
A great job Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Haurtstikke bedankt, Wim.

Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Aussie. Thank you.
That's one big lens, Ginnie... great shot...
Ginnie Hart: A small lens in size with a great focal length, Larry, for sure. The first of its kind, apparently. I'm loving it. Thanks.

Sadly I missed a Halloween post this year - but this one is wonderful. Well shot and executed Ginnie - and delighted to see that your new lens is paying creative dividends.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, George. They're really making these point-n-shoots better and better with every passing year, aren't they. It doesn't take the place of my big-girl camera, but the 1200mm lens does work miracles!
