See No Evil

Somewhere in Dublin, Ireland.

Astrid and I leave tomorrow for our annual trip to America.

Should be back here on Friday, October 25...if we can't sneak in before.

Hold down the fort while we're gone!

Have fun, Ginnie! Hope you guys have a fun vacation there ... take lots of pix!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Emily. We are always excited to go back and visit...and then turn around and come back home. Isn't it funny how that happens! smile

Great shot and I wonder what the original picture is about?
One more day of work and than we take off.... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, MLMA. I wonder, too. If it's something political, it's even more appropriate, right?

Anyway, tomorrow!!!!

Hopefully you can visit Washington, Ginnie, and sort out the dysfunctional folks there?
Ginnie Hart: No way, Ray. The closest we will get to Washington is NYC, where we plan to have FUN with a dear friend, exploring her neighborhoods near Central Park...before flying on to Atlanta! smile
Have a safe trip and great fun in the States with Astrid Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Richard. We intend to have a great trip! smile

Time has come round quickly, Ginnie - enjoy your holiday together
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Lisl. Time just flies...and after this trip, we'll be thinking about England in May! smile Thanks.
Have a great time. That looks like Maggie Thatcher. Not much loved in Ireland I would imagine
Ginnie Hart: We plan to have a great time, Bill, in spite of the shut-down!
i've never understood that covering up of the senses to evil.... we do not war against flesh and blood, etc. i really love this picture though, but the woman probably has a black strap across her eyes coz she was being naughty lol
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling we have no clue what's going on in this lady's image, Elaine. HA! And btw, welcome back.

Great colors and composition. Funny little guy. smile

Happy and safe travels to you both, and it's strange that I won't be seeing you on this side of the pond.
Ginnie Hart: I actually wonder if he/she is some political poster, Ruth? Anyway, thanks for your travel wishes. I HATE that we won't be seeing you! sad

Hope your time away is swell. Ignore the crazy politicians to keep your stress down.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Mary, and WE WILL!
Have a good time Ladies, are you meeting up with Frank and Ellie.
Ginnie Hart: We'll do our best at having a good time, Mick. Sadly, we'll not be out west but only on the east coast, in NYC and Atlanta.

Oh that is very powerful and I understand its significance completely Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Hmmm. Please share your understanding, Chad, because I have a feeling it means something more/other than what I know.
Have a brilliant time both of you and safe travelling.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Sally!

A story behind this!
Hope it was not sad
Nice find
Ginnie Hart: I so wish I knew what it meant, Helys!!! Merci.
Hope you have a safe journey and wonderful time Ginnie. It would be interesting to know what the face was all about
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Janet, and, yes, I'd love to know what this is all about!

G'wan and enjoy your trip. Watch for feds in the park, they would want money by now. As for holding the fort - the servers are running OK and should continue so, until you are back.
Ginnie Hart: We'll try to mind our 'p's' and 'q's', Louis, and will surely be glad to be back when the time comes! smile

America? I've heard of that; isn't it somewhere overseas? smile I'm back at Portland airport about to head off to Albuquerque. Enjoy your trip! I like the columns supporting the unseeing face.
Ginnie Hart: Isn't it kinda weird that we'll both be there at the same time, Alan, even if on opposite sides of the country! Thanks.

Have a super trip Ginnie!!!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Marcie! Hold down the fort (though I won't be far away, ha!).
Another trip without me? ;p
NYC is my spiritual hometown, you know.
I'm from Queens. Ha ha smile

You both have a lovely time.
Ginnie Hart: No, I didn't know, LC! So, I will be thinking about you. One of these days I want you to send me a picture of you so that I will know what you look like. smile Thanks.
Good heavens is it that time again already? Where did the year go?
Ginnie Hart: I know exactly what you mean, Tom!
Bonsoir Ginnie. Superb capture with a nice texture. Great work Ginnie. Have a lovely evening. Amicalement Antoine.
Ginnie Hart: HELLO, Antoine. Good to see you again! Merci.
That looks like Mrs. Thatcher but is still a wonderful shot smile
Ginnie Hart: Someone else mentioned the same thing, Michael. HA!
A stark image... have fun in the US of A...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Larry, and thank you. smile
Hey Ginnie!!!... if you get to Michigan on this trip.... we are only about another 1000 kl north of there... so drop in won't you!!

i hope that you and Astrid have a wonderful trip.....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: This trip, Peter, we will NOT make it west of NYC or Atlanta...sad but true! My sister in the Detroit area was bemoaning that yesterday. (sigh) But ONE day, my guess is we will finally meet up...you, Penny, Astrid and I. I hope so.
Have a wonderful trip! Will be nice to have you on the same continent for a while! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. Exactly! Now we´ll not so many hours ahead. HA!
You and Astrid have a safe and fun trip!!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Jacquelyn. So far so good! smile
Some day we will all meet up Ginnie... have a safe journey....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, I´m sure of it, Peter. Thanks!
is it thatcher??? Happy holiday!
Ginnie Hart: No, Sarah. Chad says it´s an Irish girl who stood up to the Brits in one of their uprisings...a dark spot in British history, he says. )sigh'

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry. We´re staying with Robin and are enjoying every minute of our time, trust me! smile
have a great trip, you two!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush!
A puzzling poster that seems to have the bottom part torn off. I wonder if there were more of them pasted to other buildings throughout Dublin.

You are so fortunate to have a dear friend show you around her NYC neighborhood, Ginnie. I've been to New York three times since I retired and with each visit tried to see as much as I could while I was there. Having a personal guide would have been wonderful.

Hope you and Astrid have a fabulous & fun trip!
Ginnie Hart: Chad has told me this is a significant statement of the Irish girl who stood up against the Brits in one of their uprisings. I´m sure there´s a lot there about which we all would be most somber, Beverly!

Anyway, in the meantime, we are definitely enjoying NYC through the eyes of one who has lived here 4 years. It´s the best way to see the city, for sure!!!

I wondered as to why you were quiet! Can't wait to here and see your travels here in the States smile
