My interest is piqued...I must visit V&V a little later when it is "open".
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes we do it because we can and because it's fun. Thanks, Ray.
brilliant shot. love all the lines converging
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ayush. Sometimes it's fun to go crazy a bit. smile

Great shot and I love the lines, the red in the picture tops it off. Love it.
Now over to V&V....
Ginnie Hart: You know me....HA! Sometimes we do it just because we can! smile Bedankt.

I can't work out if this is up, down or along Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: That's fun when it happens, Chris, isn't it. This is going DOWN the escalator into the Budapest subway.

All important cities MUST have a metro Ginnie. I sometimes wonder if this is by need or status. Did Bill leave you his old twiddling stick~?
Ginnie Hart: In this regard, Chad, all metros are similar! And yes, Bill left me a twiddling stick. I guess I just found it. HA!
A mega-twiddle Ginnie. I will pop over to V&V shortly
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes we do it just because we can, Bill! grin

Like a cartoon
Ginnie Hart: And totally over the top, Marie. smile
Unashamedly: YES! I just have to make the effort to learn how!
I like the artistic drawing style, Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! It never hurt a soul, Martin. Just play away. smile And many thanks.

On my way ... smile
Ginnie Hart: smile Thanks, Ruth...
You are not going to believe this!
I have been to this place too. smile

There are only 3 or 4 lines in Budapest, right?
Damn easy to bump into each other, I guess.
Ginnie Hart: It's not fair, LC. You could bump into me and you'd know me...but I wouldn't know you!!! sad
Great manipulation, and I know it's going down but it also appears to be going along the flat also. I'm off to your V.& V.when I've finished my SC.
Ginnie Hart: Isn't it fun what happens when we look at life with our own two eyes, Brian! grin

I walked a lot in Budapest and have never been near the Metro. Strange of me.
Ginnie Hart: Our hotel was way out in the boonies, Louis, after our cruise was finished. If we hadn't used the Metro, we would still be walking out there somewhere. HA!
Certainly Arty, it does make an interesting picture
Ginnie Hart: A bit over the top, Martin, to make a point for my V&V post. smile

Looks like in comics story
Nice perspectives, graphisms
Terrific mood
Ginnie Hart: Let's make a comic out of this, Helys. grin Merci.

I'm sure I used to have an old inkjet printer that used to render every image like this wink Chris makes a good observation.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Nice observation, Alan. And yes, the perspective is confusing, isn't it! It's actually looking down an escalator....
Bottom line for me, Ginnie, is the sheer pleasure and fun I get from 'manipulating' certain images. Another great post from you at V&V.
Ginnie Hart: The thing is, Beverly, your form of manipulation is a pleasure for ME as well! Thank you.
I like the up, down or straight ahead effect. Reminds me of a shot I got when we got on the Channel Tunnel train. Nice one Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Janet. Perspective is totally fickle sometimes, isn't it! smile

We create, perhaps mimic what our mind "sees" with manipulation. It makes for a more dynamic and interesting image. Without this creative insight, we then are merely walking Xerox machines.
Ginnie Hart: HA! "Walking Xerox machines." I like that, Rob. smile Thanks.
Love the shot, Ginnie. Really unusual and the treatment suits it.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Pauline, even if a bit over the top to make my point! smile
Playing like this can be fun, and can be satisfying, sometimes both. That's when its worth while.
I must find the time to do some twiddling and reading.
Ginnie Hart: It brings out the Child in me, Sheila, and sometimes I purposely go crazy. grin Thanks.
Great treatment Ginnie! I love it.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Richard.

Ginnie Hart: It was fun to go over the top with it, Oscar. smile
I like the manipulation...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry. A bit "interesting?" grin

This is an interesting treatment, Ginnie. I like it.
Ginnie Hart: A bit over the top to make a point, Jennie, but thanks. smile
Sometimes manipulation is necessary to achieve what the mind sees.
Ginnie Hart: Very true, Michael. Very true! Thanks.

pretty trippy.. smile i too, can't tell if it's going up or down.. grin
Ginnie Hart: Trippy and over the top to make a point, Rian. HA! It's definitely going DOWN. smile
ça fait longtemps que je suis pas montée jusqu'à ton site,on n'a pas pris le même chemin où je vois que tu as étudié un nouveau traitement
Ginnie Hart: This was just a fun treatment, Angevine, to make a point for my post at Vision & Verb. It's not a new style for me. smile

I love some of the effects that we can add to our photos now. I have a number of filters I love to use, and it can really enhance a photo. Love your creativity, Ginnie.

And in response to your Italy comment in the other post - I'll totally let you know when we go. It won't be til the summer. smile
Ginnie Hart: This was way over the top to make a point, Emily, but it's fun to "manipulate," isn't it! smile

When summer comes next, just let us know your plans....
Great artistic work Ginnie... loved you V&V....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Peter. Next time feel free to leave a comment at V&V, of course. The ladies love it when you men drop by. smile
A strange perspective ... I needed a few seconds to figure out from which point of view you took the photo and that it is an escalator which moves upwards. Good processing and a good effect!
Ginnie Hart: You got the escalator part right, Wolfgang, but it's going down. It's fun, isn't it. smile
