Is this made of wood or metal?

Oh, a beautiful retable -it is the Peringsdörffer sandstone epitaph by Adam Kraft (about 1498), one of the famous sculptors in Nuremberg, showing Mary with Little- Jesus and crowned by God's angels - a wonderful photo! And a wonderful title containing the essence of blissful happiness!
Ginnie Hart: WOW! Thank you for this great info, Philine. I'll add it as an addendum to my text above. Hartstikke bedankt.

We are going to Helen's tomorrow to eat cake in celebration of Kathryn's birthday. Then we go to a good friend's in the evening to eat more cake for his 70th birthday. So the diet is sunk before it even got going. Try again on Monday grin

Have a good weekend

Wonderful shot, Ginnie. Have a wonderful weekend
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Sarito.
Is it better to love or to be loved?
You can't have your cake and eat it! He he...
I know, life is full of hard decisions. ;p
What would you choose, G?
Ginnie Hart: Good question, LC. Unrequitted love is no fun. Being loved without loving in return is also not fun. The perfect thing is to have both with the same person, of course. And since it seems wise to think of others first, I'd want to start with love...and then hope I am loved in return. How's that for an answer? smile
A beautiful shot Ginnie!
Have a great weekend, too smile
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Martin.
