Not to be sacrilegious, of course!

Long live The Stooges!

LOL! Have fun!
Ginnie Hart: We will, Robin, for sure. Really looking forward to it. smile
I think religious statues should occasionally look joyful...
Ginnie Hart: And if religion can't take a joke, watch out!

The centre stooge seems in two minds about his message, Ginnie.

Will you be able to satisfy Bill's inevitable craving for a bacon buttie?
Ginnie Hart: It actually looks like two of them are twins, Ray. grin

Bill won't get any bacon butties from us but we may make sure he gets a good Dutch uitsmijter!

Ginnie Hart: If the church can't take a joke, something is dead wrong, Peter! We're sure planning for a lot of fun! Thanks.

I agree with Larry, Ginnie. I think religious statues should look happy ... but the caption makes me laugh smile

And I hope you all have fun on Friday! Only a few more days!
Ginnie Hart: If religion and churches can't be happy and take a joke, Emily, then something is really wrong!!!

We are full of excitement for our long weekend with Bill and Ange. Thanks. smile

I'm with Larry ... they're a morose looking bunch...
Ginnie Hart: Morose enough to make you laugh, I hope, Geoff?! grin

smileThey look so 'innocent', however, we all know about the adventures of the Three Stooges.... grin...
A great line-up, can you imagine listening to the sermon and these guys are 'watching' you, especially the one with the sword.
This made me smile.
Two more days!!
Ginnie Hart: I've never seen anything like it in my life, MLMA! I can't iomagine anyone keeping a straight face in that church! grin

Two more days, indeed....

This definitely has an essence of Stoogery about it Ginnie. Get Astrid to teach Bill how to speak perfect Dutch please
Ginnie Hart: You can always spot a Stooge when you see one, Chris. grin And yes, for sure, Astrid will teach Bill as much Dutch as she can.
Lovely light Ginnie. I love colors of the columns.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Marie. It was such a charming place.

What wonderful expressions, Ginnie - even the real Stooges won't beat this!
Ginnie Hart: HA! I love the thought, Lisl. Thank you. grin
I love the tones in the photo - and the stooges are just far to solemn! Have a great time with Bill & Ange!!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. I think these fellas are asking for someone to come up and tickle them! HA! grin

I think that I am the one on the left and Bill the one on the right.
Ginnie Hart: So, then, we know which one Chris is! HA! smile
Interesting shot and very interesting caption....
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Preyi. smile

Not happy faces
Ginnie Hart: Someone needs to crack a joke, Adrian! grin
I watched the video on the weather website that Astrid sent me. This very nice lady was giving a weather forecast in front of what seemed to be her holiday snaps. Finally she showed a map but started pointing to Eastern Europe. Not that it mattered because I couldn't understand a word she said.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. We'll be glad to keep you in the dark, Bill, as long as you keep smiling. smile

HA! Definitely reminds me of the three stooges. What fun!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Marcie. How could anyone sit in a church service there and be serious??!! grin
These cannot be our stooges; they look much too sad and serious.
Ginnie Hart: I think someone forgot to bring them their tea, Mary! sad

I know you will have a fun time. I will get to meet Mary in September.
Ginnie Hart: Lucky us and you, Aussie. It's such a treat to meet up with our SC blogger friends!

Too cute. From the thumbnail, I couldn't see that they were statues, hehe. Have fun this weekend!
Ginnie Hart: They're hysterical to me, Ruth. I laugh every tijme I see them, even though they look way too serious. I know we'll have a great time with Bill and Ange. Thank you.
They know how to strike a good pose smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed, John. smile
Fantastic photograph, interesting religious imagesmile Greetings
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Zielona. I've never seen anything like it anywhere!
Haha, two of the stooges seem to be book-ending the important looking fellow in the center, Ginnie. Hope there will be no in-fighting amongst Bill, Chris & Chad as to which one of them is the top banana.

Trust we will see some shots of the fun activities you have planned for Bill & Ange.
Ginnie Hart: Those 2 bookends actually look like twins, Beverly. Chad has already decided he's on the left and Bill's on the right. So I guess that means the Top Dog is Chris??? HA! grin

We'll see what we can do about images of our get-together! smile
appealing shot. i like the tones of the pillars and the timber. have a great time ahead grin
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ayush. We're looking forward to a great visit together.
the one on left looks rather sorry for himself - which one is Chad, do you think?
Ginnie Hart: Chad says he's the one on the left and Bill is on the right. So you know where that leaves Chris. HAHAHA!
I've never seen anything quite like this before in a church. You not going to try and convert Bill in to an Archbishop are you?
Ginnie Hart: I've never seen anything like it anywhere, Brian, so I'm as surprised as you are. It still makes me chuckle.

Chad has already decided Chris is the Archbishop, so Bill can breathe a sigh of relief. grin

What a miserable bunch they are. Have they been warned that a collection of Stooges (what's the collective noun?) will be visiting at some point? wink
Ginnie Hart: I don't think they want to know, Alan! grin

Looking at Bill and sizing up a bacon butty from the pics I have seen to date - you will have to make that multiple uitsmijters. Enjoy the visit.

PS. one don't hear about the 3 musketeers anymore?
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Louis, you're right. But at least it'll be Dutch. grin

The Three Musketeers? Well, the other one is no longer seen at SC, which has made all the difference in the world. We do see her at FB and have some contact there. The Three Stooges are much more...visible?!

Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Cherry.
Great capture Ginnie! I like their expressions.
Ginnie Hart: Too funny to believe, Richard!!! smile
There's something about the chap on the left.
His hair and his facial expression...
...Ah just like the lil G look I saw the other day!
Ginnie Hart: HA! You're too-too funny, LC. grin
Cheeky!!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed! grin
How could Larry Moe and Curly ever be thought of as sacrilegious is beyond me.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Michael. grin

Keeping to the threes, I think the sour-faced one in the middle is offering three alternatives...

On your knees and worship... or I'll beat you over the head a little with my crozier...
or if that doesn't work run you through...

and if non of them work, I suppose a bacon buttie is out of the question?
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! A bacon buttie would surely do the trick, George. And Bill is the one to supply it. grin
