Wonderful I think I must visit Bamberg after seeing Your photos
Ginnie Hart: It's really a great German city, Adrian! And the thing is, we saw many of them...all just as splendid as this one. Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: You're most welcome, Brian, and thank YOU.
Your processing gives it a wonderful look.
Ginnie Hart: You're most kind, Michael. Thank you.
That building is really beautiful. The rich gold coloring, and the murals are really amazing! Wonderful shot Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. It might have been better if I had left this in the true colors because it really is a spectacular building!
Beautiful ornate architecture Ginnie and you have done it justice with this wonderful image....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Peter.

Wow Ginnie, this is very impressive Baroque work. Hang on though, isn't there some cheating going on, that looks like a painting. Still it looks good. What a lovely scene.
Ginnie Hart: There was a lot going on in this place, Chad, for sure. I wouldn't mind going back for a longer stay! Thanks.

We were there on a beautiful day. This City Hall is the most beautiful I ever saw and on a very remarkable spot, on an island.
I love the warm light in this picture and your title!
Last week I posted a different angle.

This place simply oozes charm Ginnie, cobbles always make a difference. I like the effective trompe l'oeil on the side of the building
Ginnie Hart: You'd go crazy in this place, Chris. Short of eyes, as Astrid would say! Many thanks.
Wonderful light and colour tones!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Wolfgang.

a very cosy, typical scene in such an old German town like Bamberg - Bamberg was one of the favourite places of my granny and my mother. We stayed there at the Baroque Hotel. First I thought Chad were grabing here at the books in the boxes!
Ginnie Hart: What a place for memories, Philine. I can just imagine the history families might share in a place like this. Hartstikke bedankt.
This is an awesome photo.

Reminds me soo much of Copenhagen.

The architecture and the gold coloring brings out the beauty in the picture.

Every picture has a story to tell and this speaks loads.

Nice...
Ginnie Hart: I just read your About page, Preyi, and I do like your phrase "every picture has a story to tell." Thank you for your very kind comment here.
Wonderful light and tones here Ginnie. Enjoy your weekend!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard, and the same to you! Merci.
The artwork on that building is amazing Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Bill, especially when you see it in real life! Thank you.

Ginnie Hart: You'd go bonkers here, Sarah! I still can't believe we saw it with our own eyes. Thanks.

Would love to see the original shot just to compare.
Ginnie Hart: You probably would like it better, Aussie, with a bit more color.
The golden light is awesome, Ginnie. Does the building on the left have carvings or painted to look so?
Ginnie Hart: It's all painted, Mary, and is quite spectacular! They just don't do it like that anymore, do they!

A lovely spot combining old and new. No high heels allowed (think of Oscar Wilde's quote for "man" .... which is mankind, I think, and includes the ladies). smile
Ginnie Hart: Our Program Director would always tell us not to wear our stilettos, Ruth. HA! And he was always right. And yes, I did understand Oscar Wilde to be referring to mankind! Indeed. smile

Great street photo, like the warm tones!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Mats.
Oh, I like the hubbub of life and all the rich details and textures in this lovely composition Ginnie! Thank you for today's comment... I had to smile because I am the least impressive fellow to meet in person, and most definitely an odd bird! But it would be fun to meet for sure :^)
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Doug. And ifever we're in the Charleston area, we will make a concerted effort to meet up with you, for sure! That would be an honor.
There's some lovely artistry on that wall and what a great archway. This place looks like a 3 memory card venue to me!!
Ginnie Hart: HA! You would go ape there, Brian. Definitely a wonderful place to visit. smile Thanks.
like the warm, timber tone in this image. great shot
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Ayush.
That's a beautifully ornate balcony!
Ginnie Hart: The whole place is indrecible, Tom. You'd love it.

Seems to be a neat place. They should have great pubs too smile
Compliments to the conversionist.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks to you, Louis. And yes, I'm very sure the pubs were great, even though we didn't visit any. smile
belle ambiance dorée
Ginnie Hart: It was a great time of the day, Keyouest. Merci.
It would take me a loooong time to 'pass through' this delightful area, Ginnie. So much charm & beauty and you've captured it all in this marvelous image.
Ginnie Hart: It took us a looooong time, too, Beverly. What a place! Thank you kindly.

The introduced colours work perfectly in your busy, busy market scene, with its wealth of details from the stall to those murals. Great shot.
