I hope it added to the pleasure of the concert, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Ohe yes, Ray. We chose to have ours before the concert started instead of during the intermission. We started off with a bang. smile

A fine shot (& memory) Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Chris.
Hopefully it was offered before the concert.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Michael, it was...and also during the intermission. We probably could have had one each time but did choose before the concert. That was very nice.
I can taste it already!!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Me, too, Reinhardt. smile

Great picture and I love the light and selective colouring.
Brings back good memories.
Sometimes it is good to have an extra break, sometimes we want to go faster than we should.....
Ginnie Hart: Everything about that day was delightful in every way. This gratis drink was like the cherry on top of the whipped cream. grin Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA.
Enjoy yr Rioja, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: And we did, Juan Carlos! smile Thanks.
There is no such thing as a 'free lunch' Ginnie ... or in your case a 'free drink'
Ginnie Hart: Once in a blue moon, Richard, you reap the benefit of all those images you take! The concert and this drink were all gratis for the two of us because of the pictures I took of a Christmas concert for the PR man of this concert series. We were very lucky!

Its best to have a drink before and after not at intermission it alway seems rushed
Ginnie Hart: That's exactly what we thought, Adrian. Have the drink while concert goers were still coming in...and not at the rush time of intermission. We're definitely on the same page. smile

an inviting photo emphasized by your selective colouring I like very much - this is a good idea to welcome the people in the Concertgebouw
Ginnie Hart: It still amazes me, Philine, that some concert tickets offer the free drink. But I assume you pay for it (if your tickets aren't already free). Hartstikke bedankt.

Such gorgeous light in this. Hope today is dawning brighter for you two..
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Marcie. Astrid has returned from the doctor with an antibiotic prescription and has now taken her first dose. She responds well to antibiotics because she takes them infrequently. We're trusting in a miracle over these next 3 days before the cruise!

I will take the bottle thank you but just the one glass Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! One glass, one bottle. Sounds like a real party, Chad. grin
Fine shot, but way too many glasses to share one bottle between !!!
Ginnie Hart: HA! There's another bottle there to the left, Martin. That'll help. smile Thanks.
Selective colouring has never worked so well. I love this.
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Mary. Thanks.

Looking at this, I think I will open a bottle after dinner. Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: Wine bottles make such good models/portraits, Frances, don't they! smile Thanks.

We attended a concert by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra yesterday evening. The soloist in the Violin Concerto in Opus 35 (Tchaikovsky) was excellent.

We got free programmes smile Great picture of yours.
Ginnie Hart: How fun, Louis. We got free programs, too. grin Thanks. Now you'll have to show us YOUR pictures.
A very "tasty" shot Ginnie, I feel a thirst coming on.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Brian. smile Thanks.

Seven glasses and one bottle? Cheapskates smile Seven bottles and one glass would suit me (actually, no it wouldn't smile )A good gesture by the organisers.
Ginnie Hart: There's another bottle hiding on the left side, Alan. HA! But yes, it was a nice gesture, even though I'm quite sure it's in the price of the ticket (though ours were free).
No drink in rehab Ginnie, just because I told Frank he needs a holiday and Tibet is a good place to go for the beaches and the weather. So he went and booked a holiday in Tibet. He was not a happy chappie when he found out there was no beaches and its still snowing there. So he put me in rehab to help me stop smoking., some friend he is.
Ginnie Hart: I declare, Mick. The things we all go through to get there! smile So, are you seriously quitting smoking? If so, BRAVO!
This is as professionally shot & presented as any wine advertisement you would see in a high-priced glossy magazine, Ginnie. Well done!
Ginnie Hart: You are so kind and over-the-top generous, Beverly. Thank you. You always know how to make my day!

Bonsoir Ginnie. Superb composition and great shot. I like it. Have a lovely evening Ginnie. Amicalement Antoine.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Antoine. Merci.
Fine use of colour selection Ginnie, hope the wine matched it!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Fred, and yes, the wine was wonderful. smile
A lovely presentation Ginnie. I bet you enjoyed it!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard, and yes, indeed! smile

Great composition. Hope your midweek is a good one - are you all packed for your cruise yet?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Anne, and yes, basically. Last-minute things still to come, of course. But please say a prayer for Astrid who is home sick for 3 days, on antibiotics for a sinus infection. UGH. We're praying for magic!
A fine way to enjoy the concert Ginnie... fine image with all kids of reflections....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: It was most lovely, Peter! Thank you.
He he... Nothing is free.
Included in your tickets, I suppose ;o)
Ginnie Hart: You're right, of course, LC. The price of the wine is built into the ticket price...except that our tickets were free, a gift for images I passed on from another concert by this same series. Luck for us! smile
Superb lighting and composition...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Larry.
