This one caught my attention in your collage! So adore the textures and colors. Wabi-sabi at its finest! xo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you dear, Robin. It was definitely one of my favorites of the entire day. smile
It won't! Irresistible, these mirrors, aren't they? This is a good one, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: What is it about mirrors? I agree, Graeme. Thank you.

Fabulous picture, love the light and the treatment in this one.
It was a good plan, to put a mirror to show, what is around the corner in that restricted area in the church.
Wabi-sabi indeed..
Ha... I am watched all day and I don't bother, I have nothing to hide wink
Ginnie Hart: The good thing about you is that you are such a good, hard worker, they watch you and smile...and use you as the yardstick by which everyone else is measured! You know it's true and I love you for it. Thank you!

a fine observation - and I agree with Astrid's comment - the church must be worth to be visited - Mijmegen is a beautiful old town!
Ginnie Hart: Supposedly Nimegen is Holland's oldest town, Philine. I'm glad we FINALLY got to see some of it! Hartstikke bedankt.
I love it. You have great eye to find interesting things.
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Sartenada. Thank you.

I think your picture is great -but did they think something dangerous could be round this corner - in a Church??
Ginnie Hart: I'm not sure, Lisl but maybe they didn't want us to pass by without noticing what was there? It seemed like such a lovely touch. Thanks.
This works so well, the lighting in the reflection is spot on.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
A fine image Ginnie.

The Netherlands Institut of our University is working together with Nimwegen/Nijmegen - the students are studying at the excellent Radboud Universiteit and here in Münster, and their Master or Bachelor degree is valid in both countries.
Ginnie Hart: The things we learn from you, Philine! smile
At that height it is probably little brother Ginnie . Enjoy your weekend.
Ginnie Hart: Then Little Brother it is, Bill. Good point. smile Thanks.
An excellent shot Ginnie. The mirror is a gift to photographers isn't it
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Janet, and YES. Don't we all love mirrors!

Most unusual find in a church, but the reflected area looks delightful.
Ginnie Hart: I think they wanted to make sure we wouldn't miss what was there! smile Thanks, Brian.

This image really has captured my attention. Love the tones and textures in the walls and stone flooring. And, of course, the carefully placed mirror - so perfect. Truthfully, I think I would have overlooked this shot had I been exploring the church. You have opened my eyes to a whole new perspective.
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Sue. Thank you. You wouldn't have known but our Shutterchance site was down all weekend, so I'm just now getting back to you. (sigh)
I like this, Ginnie, lots of textures, plus the mirror, clever shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
He he... Why didn't you fit Big Sister in this shot, G?
Your fans need you! x
Have a good weekend!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Leave it to you, LC. I'll try to remember her next time. smile
Makes for a great photo, though! Enjoy your weekend Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Ginnie - i hope you had a fantastic holiday ... what a wicked shot. That looks like an old church ...very vintage! What was the actual building called?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Emily. This is in the St. Stevenskerk (church) in Nijmegen, NL. You would love it there!
Super shot Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, John.
a mirror, a classic in dutch painting, very good Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Juan Carlos. I guess most photographers are gluttons for mirrors! smile

What a cool image!! Especially love the layers of texture. Well seen!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marcie. Our Shutterchance site was down all weekend, so this is a late reply. Makes me appreciate whenever things work right!
Interesting take, Ginnie - it seems to be a curious location for a mirror of that kind!
Ginnie Hart: I think we'd all totally miss what was there, Tom, if we didn't see the mirror through the doorway. You weren't allowed to enter...just to see.
I love the rendering of the textures and what a wonderful perspective. That's a creative way to see things Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Flo. Merci.
WoW Ginnie, this is superb.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sally.

Ginnie Hart: HA! I never once thought about that, Michael...must have been the angle. And thanks for your kind compliment!
