Big support group ... lovely
Ginnie Hart: All for one and one for all, Richard! smile Thanks.
It's amazing how duffle coats keep making a comeback Ginnie. I like this very much
Ginnie Hart: I've not heard of that term before, Bill...a duffle coat. Or maybe it's in the deep recesses of my mind somewhere. HA! Thnaks.

You can tell that they all admired him and that he knows what he is doing.
A nice unexpected scene. Love the B&W.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, MLMA. It really was an unexpected moment of delight. As you have said, you can tell they're not like the "other boys" their age. Hartstikke bedankt.

"Remember, Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy"

Well the audience appear to be enjoying the rendition - well, unless the guy with the violin has only just picked up his bow wink
Ginnie Hart: Well quoted, Alan. And in actuality, he HAD just picked up his bow. I waited forever for him to do so, it seemed! smile
Amazement is all, seeing your beautiful photography!
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Bhavesh. It's good to see you again. Thank you.
Supporting their friend, I am guessing. Good capture.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Mary, and very sweet to see, to be honest! Thanks.
Were they waiting to join in the song?
Ginnie Hart: I think they were just there to give him support, Sheila, which I thought was very sweet. If they joined in with him (to sing?), we didn't hear it.

Way back I had a series about a youth orchestral festival in PĂ©cs, Hungary. I then commented, how utterly heart warming it is to see youth of the world playing music and enjoying it. Here it is the case again. He clearly has the support of his friends - special, very special.
Ginnie Hart: Heart-warming is a good way to put this, Louis. Thank you. It does make you trust in our youth again!

Wonderful smile

The second from the left (sitting) reminds me of one of my nephews.
Ginnie Hart: It restores faith in our youth again, Cherry, doesn't it! Thank you. Don't you love it when people you see remind you of someone you know! smile
The child nearest the violinist is really enjoying this... gret shot...
Ginnie Hart: It seemed to be good fun for them all, Larry. I love it. Thanks.
I like it, Ginnie. Very expressive.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
He he... Busking or showing off?
Cologne? I miss it so much!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Either way, it restores my faith in our youth, LC. We'll be back in Cologne in March and will hopefully see a lot more!
nice and cool smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Joshi.
Awesome! I love that these young boys are so interested in this classical instrument!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Elizabeth! It restores my faith in our youth! Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Janet. It really did my heart good to see this bunch of fellas. smile
Very beautiful and warm hearted photo.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Sartenada.
It's so refreshing to see a group of well-behaved boys enjoying the obvious talent of one of their peers, Ginnie. This is a marvelous image and all the more so in B&W.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Beverly. How can we not resist paying tribute to this side of youth!
The violinist looks tipsy. Good!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, he seemed to be braving the world in that moment, Michael. smile Thanks.

One of my favorites, Annie Lennox do it so good.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Lotta. It restores my faith in our youth. smile
Ginnie, this photo really made me do a double-take! The young violinist looks just like the young man I have seen in old photos of my father-in-law who also played the violin! The B&W treatment fits perfectly. Dad was a wonderful man, always an entertainer, through music, jokes, stories and dance. This shot really made my day!
Ginnie Hart: And you have just made MY day, Patrushka, for taking the time to tell me this. THANK YOU.
ah j'adore cette complicité entre gosses....
Ginnie Hart: It's wonderful, Angevine, isn't it! Merci.
