Great display of those lights. They look indeed so calm. I loved it that we were able to see the market after sunset. It made it like a fairytale.
Wonderful picture and love the warm light.
We'll have a great weekend smile
Ginnie Hart: After all your overtime right now, I do hope it stays calm and bright for you once you get back home each day! That's my wish for you, MLMA! Bedankt.

Your glowing, burning lanterns give a feel of Christmas - wonderful - and I love singing this carol. During our British-German Carol Service some days ago we sang also "O come, All ye faithful, joyful and triumphant. O come ye. O come ye to Bethelehem..."- and each of us should take one of these lamps and go on ...
Ginnie Hart: It's a great time to be singing these wonderful carols, Philine. Hartstikke bedankt!

Very jolly Ginnie: I hope you get out exploring this weekend
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chris. No exploring this weekend, while Astrid works tomorrow. However, we celebrate the Christmas dinner tomorrow evening with Astrid's son, DIL, and ex-husband. It will be a nice gathering.
This looks really Christmassy.
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to the German Christmas markets, Sheila! smile Thanks.
If you can find calm on this, you are very prepared for next year grin

If this brilliant scene is indicative of what you can see at the Köln Christmas market, Ginnie, it must be a joyful place to be at this time of year. Love how you've presented it! Have a great weekend.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Beverly. You have no idea how wonderful this Christmas market is!
I am assuming these are made with fimo clay, or could it be wax? They are gorgeous candle shelters no matter what they are made of.
Ginnie Hart: I have no clue, Mary, but they're wonderful at night, aren't they! Thanks.

Those are some pretty cool lanterns, giving out a nice warm glow. And they don't look overly tacky.

Didn't you hear? This weekend, I'll be stocking up on food and ammunition, so I'm ready to bug out to my Mayan-proof underground bunker come the 21st.
