Happy Anniversary to you both.

I see the bicycle is is adorned with pretty flowers for the occasion ;-)

*hugs* xx
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Cherry. Those Dutch tulips are perfect for the occassion! smile
Love this photo! My one and only souvenir (besides my photos!) from Antwerp. I can't believe they haven't made it to the states yet. You gals have a wonderful time and congrats on your five years ago meet! xoxo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Robin. Every time I see one of these colorful saddle bags I think of you. Can't believe you haven't gotten yours yet. Maybe it'll be waiting for you when you get home?

That's a "wow", Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind Ray!
these fixed gear bikes are increasingly becoming a rare sight [in Singapore at least]. weinachtsmarkts are the best part of x'mas for me tongue
Ginnie Hart: They still come in all shapes and models over here, Ayush, in the land of bikes. This is in Belgium but just an hour's drive away from us here in the Netherlands.

I agree with you about the weinachtsmarkts! smile

Hi Ginnie. I really like your bicycle series... and especially this one... with the splash of beautiful colour. Happy Anniversary smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you most kindly, Darlene. It's hard to believe it's been 5 years...and yet we've already filled it with a lifetime!

Oh, a fine selective colouring photo - yes, the tulips are Dutch icons - do enjoy the Christmas market in Köln!
I'm surrounded every day by five markets and I can even smell the bratwürste, roasted almonds, Glühwein ... in my apartment. Each of them looks almost alike the other (Sorry, I have to confess that I'm suffering already from a kind of Christmas market phobia).
Ginnie Hart: You live in the seat of Christmas markets, Philine, so I can imagine suffering from a kind of phobia. When I lived in Hannover, I loved visiting it each year. Astrid says Köln is the oldest of all Christmas markets in Germany, so we're excited!
Very nice work partial desaturation. I love the pictures of bikes.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie. Merci.

The tulips are wonderful for the occasion. Wonderful selective colouring, I just LOVE it.
Time flies, 5 years seems long.
We will have a blast in Köln, the oldest Christmas market in Germany. I am looking forward to see the Dom as a background for the market.
Happy Anniversary.
Ginnie Hart: Happy Anniversary, MLMA. The 5 years have flown and yet we have filled them with a lifetime of experiences. Today will be one more! I'm really looking forward to it! I love our photo hunts. smile

It's amazing how things can change in five years Ginnie...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Chris. Yes, indeed!
So five years on ... Have, the two of you, sorted out who does the washing up and who does the drying.

;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! Oh yes, Richard. It's all sorted out and is easy peasy. Astrid goes off to work and retired moi stays home to do the housework! Her co-workers think she's the lucky one. I, of course, know better. smile

Enjoy your anniversary. I can but just wonder - am I that long on SC already? Your anniversary + 1 year.

Great picture, highlighting the dutch essence: tulips, orange colour and a bicycle.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Louis. Some of us have really been around that long! I love it. We all have become great friends!!! Thanks.
