Wonderful image...the carpenter's belt reminds me of the gunfighter's holster.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks,Ray, and, yes, the gunslinger's holster does come to mind! smile
Farmers don't get weekends off Ginnie... if they have livestock Ginnie... but this is a great picture with all kinds of textures....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: The only "livestock" they have, Peter, is chickens and turkeys, but I know what you mean. Oh, and a veggie garden. It's not a working farm in the stereotypical sense but in an aesthetic sense...the best kind! smile Thanks.

Great B&W, Love the crop and the light. That barn is photographers heaven.
Weekend again, it is amazing how time flies, in between two weekends smile
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, MLMA. That barn is definitely a photopgrapher's paradise. You could "write" a whole book of pictures just on it! smile
My first thought was of horse tackle - it's my first thought when I see a barn! Love your light here Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: No horses on this farm, Elizabeth. Only chickens, turkeys and lots of veggies! smile You'd love it there! Thanks.

Lovely detail photograph Ginnie. Is this a barn where you store michigans?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chad. This is a barn where you store all kinds of goodies, most of which have nothing to do with animals (except for the chickens down below in the one corner). smile

a fine detail - and a wonderful title for this weekend. I can imagien that the shed/barn is full of tools and things which have to be used and done.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Philine. This is a little tool room off the front door inside the barn. There are so many nook and crannies once you enter. It's a photographer's paradise. smile Bedankt.
I like to admire such photographs. I am greeting
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Zielona. Dziękujemy.
Wonderful image Ginnie.
Enjoy your weekend!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard, and you, too. Merci.

Ginnie Hart: You've got me pegged, Lisl! grin

Nice little detail...and a perfect illustration for the beginning of a weekend.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Marcie. You'd have a heyday at Ruth and Don's farm! smile
A great B&W Ginnie.....I think I'd be spending time in there, with a camera!
Have a great weekend! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin. Lots of photo ops for the likes of all of us! smile
Fine image, Ginnie - lots of opportunities on the farm, I would guess.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tom. More ops than you can shake a stick at. smile
Great B&W photo. It brings to my mind old Western.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Sartenada. Just like a gun and holster, indeed. smile

I love photographing things in a barn; such character and textures. Nice light in this image, creating just the right tones.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Sue. My sister's farm would be a great site for any group's photo shoot! smile
I'm really glad you posted this in mono Ginnie, there is so much detail to look at that might have been lost in the colour version.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. I don't often do B&W but am trying it more and more. smile

I bet there is all sorts of interesting stuff in there. This gives me an image of the Wild West - Yee haw! Friday is it? Oh dear, just anotehr seven days left to I fly home. Boo!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Alan. It reminded someone else of the Wild West, so you're on the same page. How fun! Enjoy the rest of your vacation!
Great subject and great bw Ginnie. I like it !
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Marie. Merci.

Could add it too the camera bag collection smile Still hunting the perfect bag. Nice shot Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Now THAT'S an idea, John. smile
Would that be: Multi Queen on the right? And I wonder what the flattened carton in the rucksack contained.
Ginnie Hart: MultiQuest, Wim, but I have no clue what it is. My BIL is a school teacher, so I have a feeling it's education related. And I guess only Don himself can tell us what's in his tool belt! HA!
Nice B&W treatment Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Fred.
Wonderful in black and white...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry!
The processing really suits the subject.
Ginnie Hart: Glad you think so, Michael. Thank you.
le sac de l'ouvrier qui est en pause
Ginnie Hart: Exactly. Even the bag needs its day of rest. smile Merci.

Ginnie Hart: I'm retired, Rian, and know what you mean, but Astrid still works and I know how much she looks forward to the weekends...even though she loves her job. She'd retire tomorrow if she could (we're working on it!).
cool textures smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Joshi.
More fine B/W and texture, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
