photoblog image A Little Child Shall Lead Them

A Little Child Shall Lead Them

That kind of happiness will last a long time!

At the glassblower's shop in Laren (Gelderland), Netherlands.

Have a happy weekend!

I was the "official photographer" for Mart Martorell's June 9-10 Open House.

This is the YouTube of impressions and expressions during those 2 days,

with family, friends, colleagues, neighbors and visitors.

Anyone who wanted to blow glass had the opportunity!

This is a lovely portrait of the young girl. I had a quick look at the YouTube video and it looks very interesting. One thing (and I hope you won't mind me saying this) I think you need to slow it down. The transitions are far to fast and you don't really have any time to take in what is going on before the next picture appears! Maybe an idea to cut the number of images but run it a slower pace.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Ingrid, I finally talked to Mart today and he agrees with you that the video is too fast. However, we both want to keep all the images (I started out with 410 and cut them down to 300) but make the video longer. So I will edit it and make it last over 6 minutes. That will help. The video is really for those who were there, who won't care how long it is.
I think so too, making happy memories for this child. A lovely shot Ginnie! smile

Enjoy your weekend!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Martin. She was my favorite!
It is wonderful to see the enjoyment youngsters derive from learning new skills.
Ginnie Hart: I so agree, Martin. They really do remind me of what's important!
Oh... That's Wave, right?
I love Bossa Nova. smile

Bit disappointed you didn't choose Abba's song today. Ha... grin
Ginnie Hart: I had to stick with something more Dutch, LC. HA! Thanks.
You're in so nice and close... perfect range...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry!
oh là je ressens une émotion comme si elle était atteinte d'une maladie et qu'elle buvait une gorgée de potion....
Ginnie Hart: HA! That would be a nice story, l'Angevine! smile Merci.

Catch them young Ginnie great vid to go with it.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Peter, and thank you. I'm working on slowing the video down as we speak...Mart wants all the images but is willing for the video to be longer. Easy peasy.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Syam.
Beautifully captured Ginnie. I enjoyed your video too. I seem to have problems putting up videos or anything else for that matter Firefox blocks it or something
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Janet. I was able to slow the video down for Mart and still keep all the images. He didn't care how long it took. I guess those who were there will be interested....
