Ewes often bear twins, Ginnie, but quintuplets might be a serious mothering challenge for this lady.
Ginnie Hart: It would be a mothering challenge for anyone, Ray! I can see why she's lying down while handing out her instructions for the day. smile
Cute! And Happy Mothers' Day to you!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Elizabeth. smile

Oh, what a cute, very, very sweet family and picture - this mother has done much to give birth to five lambs, and she has to do quite more - but mothers do all things to care for their children! You may understand how sad I am today ... but the weather is a real Mother's Day weather today they all mothers have deserved fully!
Ginnie Hart: We know this is a sad time for you, Philine, and our deepest thoughts are with you. We're still waiting to hear about the funeral details. Please let us know.
Una luz y detalle excelente.
Ginnie Hart: Early spring is so glorious, Bernardo. Gracias.

Great shot, MLS. Ook voor jou een fijne Moederdag vandaag.
(Also for you a great Mother's Day)
I wonder if the 5 kid-sheep gave mama-sheep breakfast in bed.... wink
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! Breakfast in bed. I bet she was glad enough if they weren't too noisy! grin Happy Mother's Day, MLMAMV.

Hahah! Looks like her own offspring have brought round a few friends to celebrate! Mind you, mum may have wanted some "me" time (or ewe time smile ) and have wished that they all played elsewhere. I do love to see lambs running round a field together. Mother's Day in the UK is in March. but Happy Mother's Day to you.
Ginnie Hart: America celebrates it today, Alan, as does the Netherlands. Too bad we can't get everyone on the same calendar. Oh well. I love the lambs scampering about at this time of the year, for sure. Thankfully here they're allowed to grow into adulthood, for their wool...and not for their meat!
Soooo spring, this photo... Happy Mothersday to you too
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Chantal. So spring! Thank you.

Imagine having five of 'em to look after!
Ginnie Hart: I can't, Chris. Two were more than enough for me. smile Thanks.
Happy Mothers' Day to you! excellent photo Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Roland. Thus far I've heard from one of my 2 children. Not bad. smile
We had mothering Sunday a while back. anyway Happy one to you smile
Ginnie Hart: In America and the Netherlnads it's today, Bill. Too bad we can't all get together on the same calendar day! Oh well. Happy Mother's Day every day!
Perfect shot for Mothers Day. Mother so tired she can hardly get up, surrounded by her brood, who just want more, more, more. Just a joke, lol. Happy Mothers Day, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I figured all of us mothers could totally identify, Mary. HA! smile Thanks.
Ha... Should I say Happy Mother's Day to ewe? grin
Ginnie Hart: HA! That's a good one, LC. The answer is YES, of course. smile

In Germany we are celebrating Mother's Day, too. My mother often smiled a bit about this commercial event, but she loved to get a bunch of flowers and some kisses extra!
Ginnie Hart: All mothers everywhere love being remembered, Philine, I'm sure of it, even if it's only once a year. (sigh)
A beautiful appropriate image Ginnie.
Here in France Mothers Day will only take place on the 3rd of June!
Ginnie Hart: My goodness, Richard. Too bad all the countries can't get together on their dates! smile

Happy Mother's day to you smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Cherry.
As you know our celebration was a few weeks ago but I do wish you and Astrid a great Mothers Day, time for you both to think of your young ones, which I'm sure you both do anyway all the time.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Brian, for sure. Astrid's son was here with us for over an hour this afternoon, which was very nice. My daughter remembered me...but I have yet to hear from my son. But he also forgot last year. (sigh)
Love it Ginnie...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Gale. smile

this made me smile, a happy mother's day to you! smile
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, Rian. smile Thanks. Hope you had a great day.
Hilarious! And can't you hear every one of those young'uns saying, "What? Who? Me?"

I've heard that sheep will "babysit" for one another - think that's what she's up to? Surely she didn't give birth to an entire flock!
Ginnie Hart: I love scenes like this, Linda. As a matter of fact, we saw a couple of the lambs wander over from a distance to join this group, so I'm sure you're right about the babysitting. It takes a village, of course. Don't you just love Mother Nature! Hope you had a good day.
Lovely picture, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Graeme.
And a Happy Mother's Day to you too Ginnie....petersmile

It is still Mother's Day in Ontario for another 40 minutes lolgrin
Ginnie Hart: HA We had a good day, Peter. I even heard from my son just minutes before we went to bed...just under the wire. smile
This is just precious! I hope you had a great Mother's Day Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Jacquelyn. The good thing is that I heard from both my kids!!! smile
Pure sweetness!
Ginnie Hart: Isn't it! smile Thnaks, Robin.

As I always say I'm glad that there only were two of them smile Great capture, looks like she is reprimanding him.
Ginnie Hart: I think she was the mother everyone wanted to be with, Frida. HA! Thanks.
une belle famille qui profite des beaux jours
Ginnie Hart: Don't you love to see it, l'Angevine. smile
