Tomorrow Astrid and I fly to England for 6 days.

Chris is crazy enough to be our host again!

It's been wet and gloomy these days...

I'm going to have a long weekend away too.
Not far away from the Ironbridge!
Ginnie Hart: How about joining us at Blists' Hill (Main entrance) on Monday, 1 p.m., LC? We would LOVE to meet you!!! We're hoping to bring some good weather with us. It doesn't have to be sunny...just no rain! smile
Have a wonderful time, ladies. The basket looks just right to pack the bacon sarnies.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Mary! The basket is big enough to pack enough bacon butties for all of us! grin

Oh do you mean that you are cycling to England Ginnie, I am so pleased to here that. I suppose you can put your bicycles on the train and go from there.
Ginnie Hart: As I just told my sister, Chad, wouldn't that be fun to hop on our bicycles and pedal our way magically across the skies! smile It would be handy to have the bikes with us, then, while there. smile

Ginnie Hart: HA! It's all packed and ready to go, Tede. (I wish!) Merci.
Hope the weather is fine for you Ginnie. I had booked onto a camping site near Cambridge and they cancelled it because of flooding. I like the bike pic which reminds me of one I took myself over in Delft when we were there recently
Ginnie Hart: As long as it doesn't rain while we're out-n-about, Janet, that's all that matters. Otherwise we'll just relax at the house! Thanks.

You're probably in the UK now.. so welcome! I did suggest to Chris that we had an afternoon in Exeter on Sunday but the weather looks like it won't be kind to justify the drive down from Bath. Have a great time at Ironbridge!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Alan, we are indeed in the UK now, sitting in Chris' farmhouse after a lovely 2-hour walk outside...in mostly sunshine, believe it or not! Weather is such a funny thin, isn't it! Chris says this is the first sun in about a month. But who knows what tomorrow will bring!!! It was a nice thought, though.

Oh.. I like the bike shot; I remember having a dynamo like that myself.
Ginnie Hart: Can hardly think straight without a bike, Alan! Thanks.
The detail is beautifully captured Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Pavan. Thank you.
have a great trip you two!! love this picture!! nice bokeh too!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elaine. We're here having a great time!!!
I hope you got to see the perigee moon, even if you weren't flying across it at the time! Your basket reminds me of my old fishing creel - it was my dad's, actually. I used it to store this and that, and then it disappeared in a move. We can't keep it all!
Ginnie Hart: We're still here in England, Linda, but did NOT get to see the moon because it was too cloudy where we are. I've seen some great images of it elsewhere on the internet, however. Don't you just love that basket. Yes, I can imagine it as a fishing creel.
i like the rustic colors and DOF ... very nicely done ...!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Dennis.

Well Ginnie and Astrid, I'm sure you'll really enjoy Blist Hill that Chris has planned for you. It's just a few miles from where I used to live (near Bridgenorth)
Ginnie Hart: We had a fabulous time yesterday at Blists Hill...all 13 of us. And we even had great weather instead of the predicted rain. Today we drove to Wales and were "short of eyes." What a great trip for us thus far! Thanks, George. Maybe one day we'll actually meet you there in Ireland.
Superb image with a beautiful texture. Great work Ginnie. Have a lovely night Amicably Antoine.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Antoine. Merci. We're now back from England. smile

Hey, did you explore their caves in Cheddar?
Ginnie Hart: So close...too close to not meet up! Maybe the next time? No, we did not explore the caves in Cheddar Gorge. We drove on to Glastongury and climbed to the Tor.
appropriate image. i like this angle on this old fashioned bike. its been a long time since i saw a lamp and a dynamo like that
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to the Dutch, Ayush. smile Thank you.
