A Reprise for Giving Back

My post today on Vision and Verb tells you that OUR SHOPPE is now open.

We're reprising images from the past 2+ years for sale as greeting cards.

All profits will be loaned in $25 allotments through KIVA to the working poor of the world,

helping them to start up their own businesses.

I'm very pleased that my sewing machine has been incorporated into the Shoppe's button graphic.

Fell free to shop and support a good cause!

Congratulations is in place here. I have seen this project 'being born' from day one.
Thanks to hard work behind the scenes with a few ladies of V&V, today the Shoppe is open. Our Princes Maxima is ambassador of Kiva and travels all over the world to explain what is involved.
I love the 'button'.
Ginnie Hart: You have definitely watched this evolve from day one and have been my biggest supporter. THANK YOU. I couldn't have done it without you in the background encouraging us on.
This is awesome... the whole idea and hard work to get it off the ground! Congrats!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Jacquelyn. We really hope it does get off the ground to work magic for those less fortunate than ourselves.

I'm pleased that your loyal blog supporters seem enthusiastic and supportive of "Our Shoppe" at Vision and Verb.

You have been generous to pass out the "thank yous" to all those who played a role in getting the shoppe off the ground.

Let me say a big "THANK YOU" for your tireless and meticulous efforts to making sure all was ready for the Grand Opening.
Ginnie Hart: If it hadn't been for you, Sue, this Shoppe would never have gotten off the ground! WHEW! We finally did it! Thanks to YOU for all your hard and persistent work. And just think, in 24 hours we have made enough profit to give two $25 loans! YIPPEE.
That is fantastic. What a clever idea OUR SHOPPE is.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. We think so, too. smile
Lover the old Singer image - just like the one my Mum had, and which my cousin is still using!
Ginnie Hart: That Singer icon has definitely stood the test of time, Tom! Thanks.
Congrats, G!

Awesome Ginnie! Wonderful work, and congratulations on having your sewing machine photo chosen - it is a terrific image!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. To be honest, I was partly responsible in choosing it because I helped develope the site. It just seemed to make sense, in representing the "working poor" of the world who want to start their own businesses! I do appreciate your vote of confidence!
If you want you can also use my guest photos for this good cause
Ginnie Hart: That's sweet of you to offer, Chantal, but as you can imagine, we already have more than enough images to work with!
Best of luck with the project Ginnie with all the hard work put into it, it deserves it.

The old singer has seen better days, Sheila has one like that but a Jones and she still uses it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter, for your support. We're really excited about it all!
A fine machine! do you know these Singers oin the States?
Ginnie Hart: Oh my, yes, Wim. My guess is every country in the world knows these Singers that were first manufactured in the late 1800's in America!
