[guffaw]
Ginnie Hart: I know. grin
Lol... They look like they're on a walk.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Jacquelyn. I see them at almost all the markets here and they make me laugh every time. grin Thanks.

Do we have guilty secrets emerging here Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: No, not I, said the little red hen. But there are some amongst us, as you know, Chris..... (not that I'll name names).

For French Maids this is heaven on earth, for each day in the week a different one....smile (The left one is for Saturday evening)
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'm guessing Mick would have a heyday here. grin

They look like they are on a dance, un cancan, lifting up the legs and then... Sorry, I am too stupid to understand the title- our German girls and ladies are wearing such colourful leggings too...
Ginnie Hart: There is a reference here to Mick (Murphy's) who is always teasing about looking for French Maids. I guess it's an "inside joke," Philine, right? smile

i bought a pair of those once, but they were nice on my calves then the material thinned too much about my knees, don't know why, i had skinny legs and all lol... nice shot, very fun stockings!! i like the black floral ones
Ginnie Hart: To be honest, Elaine, these would look good only on certain women, I think, and I am not one of them. HA! grin

Lovely, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Not exactly my style, Lisl, but for those who like them, I guess they ARE lovely. smile Thanks.
You two have French Maids on the brain, Saturday night looks like a good night.
Ginnie Hart: This was for you, of course, Mick. HA! Saturday night at Pumpkin Creek! grin

This is just too funny...what a hoot!
Ginnie Hart: And the things is, Marcie, you can see it every Saturday at the outdoor markets all over this country! smile
Prachtig! Speciaal het kaartje met 'V.D. Heuvel': heel prozaisch.
Ginnie Hart: Ja, Wim, en alleen voor €10,99. grin
uhmm...grin
Ginnie Hart: HA! Gotcha. grin

Some would be hard to match other cloths,I alway understood French maids wore black tight, short black dress and white apron or Am I on the wrong page
Ginnie Hart: I think you need to ask Mick/Murphy's about such things, Vintage. He seems to have a better handle on it than I! grin
Do you mean to say that they are "Made in France" Ginnie? (lol)
Nice find!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Richard. grin

A fine set of legs smile This is very nice and rather fun Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: If we can't take a joke, John, right?! smile Thanks.
I'd take the second pair - beside the white lace.
Ginnie Hart: ake your pick, Mary, and it's yours, for only €10,99. smile
Ha ha! These stockings are so colourful and very flora! wink
Very different to those I see here in England.

So which pair did you choose?
(We know what you did) wink
Ginnie Hart: I do NOT tell some of my secrets, LC. grin
I deny the charge, I bought them thinking they were ties.
Ginnie Hart: Knowing you, Chad, I believe you! grin
Now here is an image for the ages. Humorous and ironic. Great find Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Doug. And what's so funny is I see this set-up at every Saturday market here in the Netherlands, when we're out-n-about! Must be in style. smile
Nice assortment. I choose the right one!
Ginnie Hart: That's fun, Marie. smile Merci.

Not Shiela's cup of tea Ginnie but some one must wear them.
Ginnie Hart: Not mine either, Peter, but someone's, definitely, if they're out on every market these days!
Spot on Vintage. Its French Maids day in England on the 8th may.Chris sort Ginnie and Astrid out with 2 outfits for when they come over.[grin].
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I have a feeling it'll be a day that'll live in infamy, Mick. grin

Not my style(!) but very attractive display; amazing what they can print these days (Well, I'm assuming they are printed designs?)
Ginnie Hart: Not my style either, Alan! HA! And who knows if they're printed or not because I never get close enough to see. smile

Many years ago I might -- emphasis on might -- have worn something like this believe it or not! At one point in time I was very fashion conscious. Now I spend my time in pj's or 'sweats.' Ha!

Cute photo. It looks like your 'viewers' are having fun with this image. The comments were fun to read.
Ginnie Hart: Don't we just love being older, Sue. HA! This is such a fun community we have here at SC, with so many of us having actually met more than once in England. Most of the guys who comment on V&V are ones we've met, so we have great laughs together. What a wonderful, wacky world we live in! smile
Reminds me of the TV toppers who used to appear on Sunday night at the London Palladium....you probably have no idea what I am on about grin
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA, Bill. No idea whatsoever but I'll take your word for it. grin
Quite a surreal sight Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Fred, but you'd be surprised how often we see it...and how ho-hum it is to the "natives." smile

I was wondering how my friends would view me if I turned up in a pair of those, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Wouldn't that be fun to find out, Lisl. grin
Ugh, how gruesome! I shudder to think of what happened to all the left legs - poor girls!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Only someone like you would think of that, Tom! grin

Des bas tableaux, bien vu et excellent rendu.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Khalil. Merci.
A pair of those Saturday night ones on the right pair of legs, you can guess who's, might take my memory at least, back 40 years.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Brian, isn't it, for us old geezers. grin
I don't want them but they make for a good photo. Cheers, Dave.
Ginnie Hart: My sentiment exactly, Dave, on both counts. smile Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Barbro, for stopping by and commenting!
The other day I was in Ely market and would have taken the same shot but it was too crowded. Thanks for doing it for me!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Glad to be of service, Graeme. grin I was lucky to get a shot without people.

Very interesting shot Ginnie. By Indian standards, these seem quite expensive.
Ginnie Hart: That's interesting, Navin...I don't have a clue because I never even stop to compare prices! smile Thanks.
Cute Ginnie!! smile T-shirt & Jeans for me, please!
Ginnie Hart: We're on the same page, Elizabeth!!! smile

Sexy Maids
Ginnie Hart: It leaves a lot to the imagination, Oscar, doesn't it. smile
A bargain at 10.99!
Ginnie Hart: Or some would think, Larry. smile
Love the colors! Saw many of these in Stockholm. I'll have to be on the lookout here in NYC!
Ginnie Hart: Is it mainly a European thing, Robin, I wonder??! I'm sure you'll take a picture if you find them in NYC...please. smile
I'm curious, Ginnie, as to whether these are individual stockings requiring the need for a garter belt or are they of the more user-friendly pantyhose variety.
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Beverly, but I have absolutely no idea. Next time I'll take a cloer look...just for you. smile
ha ha classic, looks like they've been cutting legs off passers by and selling them....
Ginnie Hart: HAHA, indeed, Rob. I like that take on this. grin
hehe...that's interesting.
Ginnie Hart: No wonder some people go to the market every Saturday, Joshi, right? grin
These are great! But you know what a midwestern girl thinks about first, seeing something like this, don't you? That's right! The meat locker, with all those sides of beef hanging side by side. Tenderizing, if you will. wink
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Linda. We're definitely on the same page. grin
Fantastic! I love weird wonderful stories like this one smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's fun, Christine, isn't it. grin Thanks for stopping by.
