Ginnie: hanks a million, Vintage. smile
I intend to travel on the Mersey Ferry Ginnie, may you do something as interesting. A gentle walk through the woods would be nice though.
Ginnie: The Mersey Ferry sounds good, Les. I know you won't forget your camera! Thanks.

Beautiful light and picture, I saw these horses just before they turned the corner, I am happy you were able to catch them like this, even more perfect than on the small road.
We will try to make the weekend 'a happy trail'.
Ginnie: I was glad I caught them, too, MLMA. It was such an idyllic sight. So cozy. Zo gezellig. smile Bedankt. And yes, we will have happy trails this weekend, even if we go nowhere!

Oh, Ginnie, what a dreamy- summerlight- lightflooded -beautiful photo- I like it very much and it reminds me of a painting by Frida Kahlo!
Ginnie: I'll have to show Astrid your comment, Philine, because I'm still trying to get her to see the DVD movie I have of Frida's life. smile Hartstikke bedankt.
kinda creepy, the way they are riding all slow and silent, unseen really... neat picture smile
Ginnie: HA! You and your brain, Elaine. grin Actually, it was a beautiful, sunny day and didn't feel creepy at all, but I know what you mean. Also, safety in numbers...the other 8 photographers were nearby on our photo hunt. smile
Nice place to enjoy a ride. Good weekend. A greeting.
Ginnie: It looked and felt idyllic, Pedro. Gracias.

Oh I wonder where they're going? There's a sense of foreboding to it, nice ;-)
Ginnie: This is a delightful forest near Roden, Scarlet. It felt like we could walk forever and never see the end of it. I bet these horseriders felt the same way. Bedankt.
I sometimes come across horses and riders in the woods sometimes. They are always such a surprise.
Ginnie: A pleasant surprise, Mary, I know. I wasn't expecting them. Bike riders, yes, but not horseriders. Thanks.
Nice shot, evocative of a story.
Ginnie: Thanks, John. I'll let you write the story. smile
I go green this weekend. smile
But I shall go there by bus, a bit too far on foot! wink
You have a great weekend, G!
Ginnie: Green is good, LC. Enjoy it! smile
Sorry... Forgot to mention this:

Now you know why it's green. wink
Ginnie: I'm guessing we'll be the lucky ones, LC, getting to see your pictures of the event! smile

Ginnie: Right, Louis. Their hair can blow in the wind. smile Thanks.
I wish I was riding a horse along that trail Ginnie. It's family Sunday as per usual but next week we're off to greece. Whoopee
Ginnie: It would be a fun family activity on horseback, Janet, wounldn't it. I can imagine you're now excited about Greece.
Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen...eh, okay, maybe not so much, but this one does look inviting, Ginnie. What a delightful forest to take a ride in.
Ginnie: Robin Hood does scome to mind, Alex. We could cook up a good story, I'm sure. smile Thanks.

We are going to an exhibition I have two prints in tomorrow, indeed I also have 5 digital images in another exhibition in Leicester as well but we won't do that one, and then it's Strawberry picking at a local farm. Sunday it's church and then a big get together in a pub/restaurant to celebrate our Lauren's 4th.birthday which is today. You two have a good weekend, the weather seems set fair I believe.

I've had a lovely day out and about shopping (something I detest) with my friend Gail
Ginnie: I'm not much of a shopper either, Aussie, unless it's something I need. But I usually do the research ahead of time. It sounds like you're back in one piece. Good! smile

The Dutch language knows the appropriate word to describe this summery atmosphere: zonovergoten!
Ginnie: What a beautiful, wonderful word, Philine. Astrid has explained the meaning: sun poured over! WOW! That's exactly how the day was. Bedankt.
I can imagine how beautiful this forest must look during winter. This shot looks like a scene from the chronicles of narnia.
Ginnie: Ohhhh. I LOVE the Chronicles of Narnia, KWB! The White Witch is now gone from the forest! Thank you for that lovely thought.
A gentle, pastoral scene. Charming (as are we all)
Ginnie: Thank you, dear Larry.
Love the way you return the mystery of the forest with that indefinable tone of green! a jumper between two trees, as a passage uncertain gives a great magic!! Ginnie good weekend.
Ginnie: You're very kind and sweet, Mathilde. Merci!
I stayed home and i am having a great weekend Ginnie....dinner with all the kids and grandkids Sunday...and my boat is all cleaned up and full of gas....i love this photo that you took peeking though the trees lol....petersmile
