Is it Monday?

I tend to lose track...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Ray. It's Monday! smile
Wouldn't it be more surrender-y if the armor were gone? smile
Ginnie Hart: What you do, Larry, is surrender with your armor ON and THEN you take it off. HA! So, yes, I have just corrected my text!

On dirait qu'il accueille les visiteurs.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I hadn't thought of that, Martine. smile

Nice image, Ginnie...I remember having to do that....smile
Ginnie Hart: (sigh) I suppose we've all had our moments, Frank. Thanks.

Monday is like most other days to me now ;-)

I reserve my armor for challenging days ;-)
Ginnie Hart: The same for me, too, Cherry, but, for some reason, I never forget what it was like. HA!
All these retiree's... are Astrid and I the only working people left on this site?! smile Just kidding... everyone's paid their dues...
I like this photo - and find it curious why he's at the top of the stairs like that?
Ginnie Hart: Bless you and Astrid, Elizabeth. We need you both to remind us of what we once were. HA! You'll be there bef+ore you know it.

I neglected to mention that there was a rope closing off this staircase, so they were quite dramatic with this presentation.

Armor is some times not even enough, poured into concrete might be more appropriate for me sometimes. Love the image, Ginnie.
I agree with Elizabeth, are we the only one defending the castle?? 12 more weeks wink
Ginnie Hart: Your time is almost here, Astrid. And then...WATCH OUT! smile Thanks.
Nice. Kind of a Don Quixote looking fellow (in my mind.)
Ginnie Hart: ood thought, Michael. I see it!
Magnifique et original ..Merci Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. It was such a surprise.

I prefer 'amor' to 'armour'
Ginnie Hart: Of course you do, Richard. I suppose we all do?! smile

That is a rather creepy figure Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Chad. I had to really zoom in on it to figure out what it was...a soldier in armor.

What an unusual figure! I wished some politicians would follow those words!
Ginnie Hart: I so agree with you Philine!!!
Wat een sfeervol plekje
Ginnie Hart: The stairway was roped off, Marjolein, giving this view even more "atmosphere."

If I did that this morning certain parts of my anatomy might freeze off Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, then!
Needs a decent bacon buttie by the look of him
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! Leave it to you to think of that, Bill. smile
Très sympa cette sculpture placée ainsi ! belle composition.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascale. It was a surprise to see there!

It looks to be quite a moving piece of artwork. It looks like a very thing child looking to be picked up and cuddled.
Ginnie Hart: I would love to know more about it, Alan. I had to enlarge it to see it was a soldier in WWII-type armor. But it does look like it needs cuddling.

I thought from the thumbnail that this was part of a crucifix, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Lisl, you're the first to mention a crucifix but that's the first thing I thought of, too!

i would not go up those stairs if that THING WAS THERE lolol ok, i'm leaving, it's creeping me out lol good picture!!!
Ginnie Hart: Interestingly, Elaine, there was a rope closing off the staircase, so we couldn't have gone upstairs if we had wanted to. It almost creeped me out, too!

Just surrender. Take off your armour, and get moving.

Sounds like marriage.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, Louis. grin
A most unusual sculpture, I cans ee why you took the picture.
Ginnie Hart: It definitely caught my eye, Brian.

A saying and sculpture that evokes a feeling of release and freedom!!
Ginnie Hart: I assume that was the intent, Steven. smile Thank you.
I certainly see surrender here. If your nose grows when you lie, I wonder what it is that makes your arms grow like that.
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Mary. They do seem out of proportion, don't they!
Here, I could use it to illustrate my short poem. (so to speak) smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, of course, Claudio. smile
we have no armor Ginnie... just warm parkas... good find and photo....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. I suppose you'll need your parkas for a few days longer!
Intriguing!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Tom. A bit haunting, too.
i do not find is creepy as some mentioned but i agree it could do with some fattening up to face the rest of the week, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HA! i like that, Ayush. smile
Surrendered wink
Ginnie Hart: Me, too! smile
Reminded me of Phan Thi Kim Phuc.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, indeed, LC. What a reminder!
Oh, this is so cool! Wonderful capture! Can't wait for Astrid not to have to worry about Mondays any longer!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin. Astrid is cutting off each week on a strip by her laptop and is now down to 11. It'll be here before we know it.
