i love this scene very much, Ginnie. i wonder how far is this farm from the nearest town center?
best wishes to you and your family on this occasion.
Ginnie Hart: The entire area is fairly rural, Ayush, meaning that even the towns nearby are quite small.

It has the appearance of a rich person's country retreat, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It definitely doesn't look shabby, Ray!
That is such a nice view of the farm.
Ginnie Hart: It was hard not to stop and take it all in, Michael!
A beautifully composed image, Ginnie! I love how the farm is nestled in the valley!
Ginnie Hart: "Nestled" is the operative word, Elizabeth, which I love. Thank you.

A beautiful view every time we passed this farm. It showed as it is well kept. I know Thanksgiving is the one time you miss your family in America.
Ginnie Hart: I never tired of seeing this place, Astrid. And yes, this is THAT time of the year when it's hard to be away from the family. BUT, each year we do make the most of it, which I like.
Un lieu vraiment très beau pour y vivre ..
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling they're quite proud of their place, Claudine...and thankful, I hope.

A little slice of heaven here Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Can you imagine coming upon that in one of your walks, Chris!
J'adorerais habiter ce genre d'endroit, plein de charme.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Absolutely, Pascale. I have a feeling they take great pride in their place.

What a large farm, quite a settlement - and so American
Ginnie Hart: I wonder if there are two "settlements" there, Lisl. I don't know for sure but it looks like it, with the road passing through them.

You've just reminded that it will be Black Friday this week. I've been bombarded with all sorts of offers of Black Friday sales that have been running for days now but the actual day escaped me. This is a cracking view of the farm; what a lovely setting too.
Ginnie Hart: Black Friday! UGH. Don't even get me started, Alan!!!! But yes, the farm is iconic for this time of the year, which I love.
There is enough to be grateful right?
Ginnie Hart: Meer dan genoeg. More than enough, Marjolein!
You might enjoy my picture tomorrow Ginnie....smile

This looks a fine old farm
Ginnie Hart: I'll make sure to peek in, Bill. And yes, a very fine farm, indeed.

this idyllic picture looks familiar to me... like i've been there before... it's so pretty! Happy Thanksgiving! it's in October here...
Ginnie Hart: It looks familiar to me, too, Elaine. It's strange how that happens. It must be an iconic scene from New England! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, then.

This looks a very tidy farm Ginnie, and in a very pleasant location.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chad. Indeed so.
Rural American farms are really beautiful.

I have only seen Amish buggies on TV. Did you see any in CT?
Ginnie Hart: No Amish buggies to be found, LC. But I've seen them in Michigan near our Hart Family cottage, believe it or not, and in Pennsylvania, too, of course.
What a splendid rural scene. Not a happy time for Turkeys, they never get to see Santa.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good point, Martin (which I've never thought of before!).
Isn't that a sweet little farm!
Ginnie Hart: I couldn't agree more, Mary.
To twist the comment you use to me on occasion, 'more American this could not be'. Apparently now that Halloween and Black Friday have crossed the Atlantic to GB it appears people are now starting to have Thanksgiving celebrations and the shops are cashing in as well, how strange!
Ginnie Hart: Not here in the Netherlands yet, Brian, at least on the Thanksgiving meal. It's something I really miss, to be honest, sitting around the table with family!

Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Steven. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Farm and forest! Fine shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
a wonderful farm scene, Ginnie... thanks for the greetings smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry, and you're welcome!

A peaceful looking farm - I hope you can enjoy a bit of Thanksgiving.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine, and I will. Lots of fun things planned to keep me occupied. smile

Great farmyard picture. Is this an area that gets snowed under? I am looking at that pile of wood.
Ginnie Hart: This was my first time in that area of the country, Louis, but I do assume they get quite snowed under!
