i like this wonderfully dark image, Ginnie, even though i detect a touch of melancholy here.
Ginnie Hart: A tribute to Black Monday, perhaps?! smile

I believe I see what Ayush describes...perhaps it is the want of a little TLC for the building.
Ginnie Hart: A LOT of TLC, Ray! She seemed perfect for Black Monday.
B&W is a great choice for this rustic old place!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Elizabeth. Thanks.
Dark and forbidding farm...
Ginnie Hart: Perfect for Black Monday, I thought.

Fabulous picture for black Monday, Ginnie. It was an amazing place to visit and yes it could do with a lot of LC....
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Astrid. We were so lucky that day, seeing a Connecticut farm up close and personal.
J'adore ta photo !!!
Magnifique !
Bonne journée à  toi Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Claudine.

Is this built mainly of tin, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: It's all wood, Lisl...well-weathered!

This place looks well used Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I'm afraid so, Chris. The economy in Connecticut is at the low end of the scale, I heard (and saw) while there.
J'aime beaucoup l'ambiance un peu urbex de ce cliché.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: A little dark and moody, Pascale, but the sun will come up soon. Merci.

Oh, this is the blackest Monday we see today - also in the politics of our country.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Philine. And sadly, we heard that the economy in Connecticut is at the low end of the scale in America right now. (sigh)
A good use of b&w Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

What a fabulous ruin, if that can be said of a wooden building Ginnie. I like this very much, nicely composed and very broody.
Ginnie Hart: Fitting for your Black Monday, Chad, I should think?? smile Thank you.

A little restoration job for Chris - once he has finished his bench.
Ginnie Hart: HA! That's a good one, Alan.

It also seems to be a boat Friday. Excellent conversion.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Louis. I actually thought about that but decided to go with Black Monday. smile
He he... You know me too well!
I can't wait till the Black Friday sales, cos I want to buy a new TV smile
3 days to go! Yay!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! Go at it, LC!!!
So dramatic and great smile
Ginnie Hart: A little bit of drama to spice things up, Joshi. smile
I love ole wooden structures like these. It has a spooky look in it's dark theme.
Ginnie Hart: It would make a good haunted spot for Halloween, Mary!
Great, I love finding places like this, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, Frank. Places like this make my world go 'round!
A rather strange building, I wonder what it was for before it started to fall into this state.
Ginnie Hart: I believe it's a New England version of a barn, Brian!

Your processing gives a sense of hauntedness here. The barn is in some desperate need. One little wind may spell catastrophe.
Ginnie Hart: Its state id disrepair made me do it, Steven. smile
Als je naar buiten kijkt is het hier ook grauw, nat en grijs, alleen niet zo verwaarloosd ;-0
Ginnie Hart: Definitely the perfect day for this, Marjolein, exactly as you have described! Thank you for stopping by and commenting here.
noir et blanc extra! il va y avoir du boulot de restauration a faire!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: This is what we would call a real piece of work, JP. smile
Such a beautiful building and I like the intense black and white.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. It did seem appropriate!

It needs a little TLC.
Ginnie Hart: How about a LOT, Cherry! smile
Oh how I'd love some of that barn wood!!
Ginnie Hart: I know you would, Robin. The entire farm was full of wabi sabi! smile
