Nice. It looks like a painting.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. A B&W painting, yes.

Very good, Ginnie.

Somehow, though, I yearn for Italian colour!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. I'm sure by the time Astrid and I are both done you'll see plenty of Italian color. I'll keep it in mind. smile

I like this view and the twiddle. Just a coincident that 'I am standing' on the Rialto Bridge today.
Together with the St. Marco Square two places 'you have to' visit in Venice.
Ginnie Hart: Just a coincidence, indeed. I love that we're both on the same page today.
Your twiddle works beautifully here, Ginnie! I like the patterns!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. I know that most of us have seen these same scenes over and over again, so I'm trying not to bore everyone!

I think Venice needs colour Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: Hmmm. You're the second person who's mentioned this today, Chris. Strange, however, in that I've been following a series from someone where almost all his images are in B&W. I guess there's more than one way to see something?

Oh very arty. I like the effect very much. I especially like the bows of the gondolas and then stark contrast of the bridge.
Ginnie Hart: So, you're okay with no color, Alan????? smile I'm glad you "got" the arty feel because that's what I intended. Thanks.

i always thought that Venice was sooo romantic... all the movies show lovers in those boats, floating down the canals at night... then someone told me that the water STINKS coz people throw... everything in the water... tell me that isn't true? smile this is a beautiful picture, i love the treatment!
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Elaine, I often commented to Astrid that the water looked clean, even though I was sure it wasn't. We never once smelled anything, but I don't know if that's because it was just starting to get warm after winter. Anyway, thanks!
Wouah...on croirait une peinture
SUPERBE !
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. That's what I wanted!
I really like this ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bill. I was hoping someone would! smile
A classic image Ginnie, very pleasing.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Chad.

a very interesting photo - although the different colours belong to Venice.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Philine, the colors do belong to Venice! HA! But sometimes I try to see "expected" things a bit differently.
Awesome, Ginnie. I like it a lot.
Ginnie Hart: I'm glad you do, Mary. Not everyone's cuppa tea.
superbe traitement!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
Terrific twiddling Ginnie, a competely new perspective on the Rialto bridge.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. I'm finding it's not everyone's cuppa tea but I had fun doing it.
wonderful imagination Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Peter.
Great, Ginnie, I think this works well. It is a well composed shot.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Frank. Thank you.
Ha ha... It's gonna be Venice Boat Friday a very very long time now, G!

I know you too well, eh? wink
Ginnie Hart: Hmmmm. You might be surprised exactly how long it is, LC, especially since we'll be in Cornwall 3 weeks from now! smile

It is so old, it lost its colour. A most interesting twiddle - I must remember that the paint filter, turned b&w can produce such a great picture.
Ginnie Hart: Gotta play around from time to time, Louis, lest we get bored by the same 'ol same 'ol. smile
And a very good, graphic design style twiddle it is too!
Ginnie Hart: Graphic design. Now that's an idea...definitely!
Very good imagination Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Roland. It was fun to do.
Most impressive, Ginnie...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry.
really love the prows of all those gondolas lined up, Ginne
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. It was the part I liked, too. smile
