It's what's on the inside that counts.

Have a sunshiny weekend.

I try to have better insides as I go along... temps will be in the 70s this weekend in Raleigh...
Ginnie Hart: The older we get, Larry, hopefully the better it gets! Temps in the 70s in Raleigh will seem like a reprieve, I'm sure.

...although...I do like the coating on a chocolate-coated ice-cream!
Ginnie Hart: And you definitely DON'T need sunshine for that, Ray, do you!
A lovely golden glow through the window Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It actually was, Chad, on that day...in the abbey cemetery.

Très jolie désaturation partielle.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martine.
Reminds me of The Exorcist (Head turns 360 degrees).
Ginnie Hart: Hmmm. It's probably a good thin I never saw the movie, Michael, because I have no clue what you're talking about! smile
Absolutely right, Ginnie!! smile
Lovely image, here!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth!

I love this selective colouring. Very elegant windows. Let the sunshine in. It is amazing what some light can do.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. It was such a lovely day at the abbey!

I would recognise this as a "Ginnie" picture anywhere!
Ginnie Hart: I think I'm going to take that as a compliment, Lisl, so thank you.

It does look very bright and welcoming inside. I like the different bricks used.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Alan. A conglomeration, as we'd say!

What a wonderful image - and I like your title! The weather here is rather mild, I have a feel of springtime when I hear the birds singing.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. It has definitely been warmer the last couple of days...but I'm not sure the sun will be shining here today.

Selective colouring suggests it's warm inside Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: We so much wanted to go inside, Chris, but, alas, it wasn't open while we were there.
Beautifully done Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Excellent treatment!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Anne.
This is one of my favorites ever of your fine selective colour wonders. Blows me away!
Ginnie Hart: WOW, Mary. That is a wonderful compliment. THANK YOU.

Your effect works very well in my estimate. Like the sun is behind the horizon and it is still light enough to see. A time o day with its own atmosphere.
Ginnie Hart: It definitely caught my eye, Louis! Thank you.

I always love the warmth and details of church windows ... always the most magnificent part!
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Emily. As you can see, this really caught my eye.
Very well done Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Brian.
I know, exactly right.
when are you going to show us what's inside this beautiful church then, eh? wink
Ginnie Hart: Sadly, LC, the church wasn't open while we were there that day...one of our great disappointments. So we ended up spending more time in the cemetery!
That is wonderful.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Une pensée très vraie ..ta photo est vraiment très belle ..Bon week-end egalement
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. We can always find light, can't we!
I like your post... words and image.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Jacquelyn.

WoW!! Lovely image treatment.

I missed this church when I visited Leuven...
Ginnie Hart: This was at the Park Abbey, Cherry, which we made sure we visited. Too bad the church wasn't open, however!
Wow! The windows are just exquisite... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sudipto, for stopping by and commenting again. It's good to see you!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, JP. Sometimes an image "makes me do it." smile

So true! And what a wonderful image that portrays the message!
Ginnie Hart: And to think it was the sun from behind that streamed into the inside, Robin. Thank you.
