They are graceful too Ginnie, I like the golden look to the interior contrasting with the exterior grey.

A gorgeous train station -and topic also in great literature (W.E.Sebald, Austerlitz) -at first I thought to be in Italy -I am often fascinated by great old central stations - a feel of the great wide world, Peter Stuyvesant would have said.

You could have the 3 stooges, each in an opening and call the picture The Three Plagues.
The building is still as beautiful as I remember it.

Beautiful light and framing. A very grand building. We have been to Antwerp once, just stopped for Dinner on the way from Netherlands to Brugge. A beautiful city, I would like to visit again smile.
Ginnie: Brugge, of course, is another city altogether...and so different from Antwerp, Sarito! If you ever go back to Antwerp, make sure you check out the train station. smile Thanks.
I have a feeling I just might miss my train if I were let loose in this magnificent station, Ginnie.

Impressive! Hard to believe such beauty can be found in a train station.
Ginnie: I know, Sue. Most of our train stations in America are more utilitarian than architectural masterpieces!
It really is a great station for photographers isn't it.

That's very impressive, Ginnie. AT last designers in the UK are starting to see the beauty of some railway stations - St Pancras in particular.
